Hello again. I know all of those places well. I worked at Atsion during the summer of 1985 and part of 86. There were two books written about Harrisville, one of them with maps and diagrams in it. That mill was gigantic. Friendship is upsetting to me because it's been so heavily vandalized in recent years. The State Forest office at Atsion is the old company store. I think it was built a year before or after the mansion. When I first went to Atsion with a good camera, which was like 1998-99, you could still walk inside the barn. The fence around it was added much later. You missed the church and schoolhouse. The church was rebuilt, I think around 1872. The schoolhouse is from 1916, and got a new roof just a few years ago. But the vandals break into it constantly. I really enjoy your videos. I like the background music too.

Hello) I tried to reach the schools and church in Atsion, but noticed "Private" sign on the road side and changed my mind. Not sure, but it looked like there was sort of summer camp for a religious community and guests weren't welcome. Harrisville is fenced now too, but i found a hole in it to get in. Indeed, i see an outline of a huge building (or mill pond) on Google Earth on this place.

My grandmother and I used to take day trips from Surf City in the early 60's. We "discovered" Harrisville. It was powered by water from the Wading River.
