Timing on point, percussion, oh my, guitar and base awesome, (hey love the celt), vocals need a little more work, young lady came in toward the end and did the little high solo, good, but the vocalists sounded low, may be a problem with the sound setup. Thats as important as the timing during the song. We who give some criticism do try to give constructive criticism not destructive. And also us oldsters know this music, we've been listening to it for 50 years, lol. It makes me happy beyond belief that you young people have discovered this old music and are breathing new life into it. We're losing many of those who created it, so now the torch has been passed onto you. When we give pointers its from a place of love,.not hate. We love this music and so love you've taken an interest in it. Please keep going, please do so, and hone your talent. Music does something to the brain, just listening to it, enhances our brains somehow, higher thinking, especially this old music, it's just the way they wrote it, arranged it back then. You'll be the better for it, especially playing it. Try some Supertramp on for size,. And Yes,. "Roundabout ", Peace ✌

When you say classic rock from Britain , Pink Floyd is always mentioned, You guys are making sure that Rock N Roll will never die, rock on. P.S Sid Barrett was the original guitar player in the band, I think he quit on account of mental health issues. RIP Sid & Rick.

Great job! Wish we had a program like this when I was in highschool! These kids will end up with more successful lives because of the power of learning music. We need to understand the significance of good music programs in our nation's schools, and stop cutting the funding for them. Music is one of the most profound parts of a kid's education (if they choose to participate). There are studies proving that the kids that participate in music programs are much more likely to have successful lives. PLUS, IT'S FUN AS HELL TO ROCK OUT!!!

@MidWestConcertVideo25 жыл бұрын
The house sound engineer eventually found the bad guitar amp and muted the input. When you say "pitchy" do you mean flat or sharp?
@maxmoon22545 жыл бұрын
MidWest Concert Video I mean out of tune. Sounds like the lead vox is flat (and alto backup) but maybe it’s a little low for her range or monitor isn’t loud enough. I’m sure you hear it. Don’t get me wrong, I probably wasn’t as advanced musically when I was they’re age and the instrumentation is fine. Just the vocals are a little gnarly
@DrChaad5 жыл бұрын
Gregg Todd, Being on pitch is the number one priority of any music performance. I don't know how these kids even qualified to be in this program, if they can't hear themselves. At least one of the guitars is out of tune as well. The net effect is: The whole band sounds out of tune. I think the instructor has a wooden ear. The kids may be talented, but if they can't hear the correct pitch they are supposed to be singing or playing or tuning their instrument to, it's all for shitt.
