I had problems with the unit not seeing my music files. It tried to display jpg files on the USB, but could only show two of them. The problem was an obscure selection somehow got changed on the setup menu. It lets you select EITHER pictures or music. It won't see both, apparently. When I selected "music," the mp3s all played fine. Another weird thing is when you press the front physical button to see the rear view camera, it goes into that mode as a "home" mode. That is, if you don't press the radio button for about 30 seconds, you get the rear view automatically. The way to turn that off is by touching the X in the upper right of the screen. Then you're back to normal "home" mode of whatever source you selected. This unit is going to take me a while to get used to it.

I just got this same radio can’t wait to try it out but have to wait till next month cuz my Honda Accord ex-l needs a 350 dollar dash and wireing kit off the site ugh wish it was cheaper

I have this radio I have two promblems one when I press the mic on the left it say this functions isn’t enable on your device and two when I call someone I can hear them but they can’t hear me when I take it off Bluetooth and put it on phone or speaker they tell when they hear static so the only way I can’t talk to them is through phone or speaker

Sounds like it could be a Bluetooth setting issue and/or the microphone. You may want to check your microphone wiring and location. I have a factory DVD player that runs the sound through two rca cables would I be able to plug these in and have sound with this headunit

The Pioneer does have analog audio inputs so that should work in theory.

To prevent the touchscreen display and button illumination from being too bright at night, the illumination is automatically dimmed when the car's headlights are turned on. The automatic dimmer function only works when the orange/white illumination wire in the wiring harness is connected to the vehicle's headlight circuit. You can also turn on or off the dimmer manually. You can even set a timer for the dimmer to turn on or off.

How can I configure the steering wheel control buttons on the AVH-601EX

We do not know if there will be an differences that impact the parts used to install a radio in yours. Proceeding as if its identical to the 2011 Corolla's we researched, adapters do exist to help. Does your Corolla have the JBL Audio system? Also, is this Pioneer radio already installed into the vehicle? If it is installed, do you remember which brand/model radio installation harness used to help install it?

Yes, you can connect and play Spotify via Bluetooth. Yes, the Pioneer navigation app is available for both Android and Apple devices

I had this baby for a while and was honestly a little iffy at first, but after a while I began to like it more and more and eventually I fell in love with it. It was mine. The screen on mine was recently broken because my neice threw her toy right at the screen from the backseat and now it won't work at all. Now I'm looking for another dvd compatible receiver that won't break my bank. I'm gonna miss this baby for sure, she was my first DVD player I've ever had in my car, I'll never forget you AVH-601EX 🫂
