The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

I remember getting this achievement by sheer luck, it was a two Apoc game and both for some odd reason claimed Death and Baker D1. So I guessed them as Apoc and a random person as Coven. So I won N1 which I didn't know there was an achievement for winning within 3 nights

i think that situation when you could've pushed 11 for the achievement is one of those things where you gotta just try it anyway instead of letting the chance slip because worst case scenario you attract suspicion but best case scenario you achieve something quite difficult

I once got a n2 doom. This is because another ds got the lwgendary tripple coven n1, so everyone just claimed openly because unlikely 2nd ds and last coven rit would have book. So i easily won n2 with monarch, last coven, and ret. Everyone spent the whole day yelling they were cheating, then even after claiming openinly, claimed i was also cheating. The salt was enough to melt a glacier.

If I'm not mistaken in a 4 coven game there is a 1/91 chance of guessing 3 coven randomly night 1 assuming no disconnects and no additional info, so yeah on average probs about 1% chance

i think the math is (4/15)*(3/14)*(2/13) since you have to guess all 3 correctly, and you cant guess the same person twice. you'd have a 4/15 chance of guessing a coven the first time, then 3/14, then 2/13. which works out to ~0.88% or ~1/114

If you guess 3 random people as random coven and 4 coven are in the game. There are 14 choose 3 combos you can pick, and 4 choose 3 of those are correct, so that’s 4 out of 364. So you have a 1 in 91 chance to win N1, so it’s actually better than shiny hunting in pokemon.

With 3 coven in the game, it drops down to 1/364, and with less than 3 it's 0%, so it'd be interesting to have the statistics of how many games have full coven. That being said, 4 coven games are rather common, so it shouldn't drop too far.

Just today a Witch gifted me this achievement, by telling me that someone else was an Executioner. Someone else claimed Vet like "DOOM ME!" so I played Thanos and perfectly balanced my kills.

Doomsayer’s a tricky role for me. If I don’t win early I usually don’t mind. And my basis for that is that i’ve won as Doomsayer on N2 not one, not two but SIX FREAKING TIMES. Once I had more N2 wins than regular wins. Also my first ever TOS2 win was a Doomsayer win. But i’ve had plenty of unlucky moments. Like finding 3 town including a Tavern Keeper but getting RB’D then having the game end. Or that one time I was in a game with 4 Coven and a berserker and I ended up losing with a roughly 80% chance of winning. I await the day I win Night 1 and inevitably get banned for 99 days.

In the second game I was the enchanter who got shot by dep. Yes I did enchant you but I put you in my fake will in case I was tracked. I made two new friends in the graveyard during the game though.

Assuming 4 cov, your odds of getting all of them night 1 is c(4,3)/c(14,4) = 4/1001 or roughly 1/250 = 0.4%. And that is assuming 4 cov. For 3 cov it is 1/364. So your odds are less than 1%. Quite a bit less.

if my math is right, if it's a 4 coven game, probability to guess all coven n1 is 4/15*3/14*2/13 = 4/455 =~0.88% if it's a 3 coven game, then it's 3/15*2/14*1/13 = 1/455 =~0.2% if it's 2 or 1, then it's 0%

Don't forget to exclude the Doomsayer itself from the player list for who might be coven; there's only 14 other players who could be coven, since you're one of the 15 players in the game.

If you want the actual statistic for that you’d have to figure out the odds of a specific amount of coven existing in an All Any game, which would be quite difficult to do considering scrolls may affect those odds as well.

@@SmoothTurtle840 scrolls don’t affect the odds! the roles for the game are decided first. Then the scrolls make it more likely for you to get the role. so if the role isn’t picked to be in the game originally the scrolls do nothing.

I did this on my second day playing... got claims _whispered to me_ as Psychic and just straight up wrote them into my guesses. Jailor executed a Coven. Coven killed the Jailor. Vigi (who I didn't guess) shot a Tracker. MONARCH (guessed) KNIGHTS ME, HANGMAN COMES FOR THE VIGI, I'm STILL IN THE TOWN DESPITE COMPLETELY WIPING THE TOWNIES A whole day of "wtf just happened" passes and the three other living players ask me if I can guess again (can't) Next night passes, Coven kills a townie, I leave the town Final night THE WITCH WALKS INTO THE STEALTH VETERAN FOR A TOWN WIN

Assuming there are 4 coven and you guess all as random coven, there are (4 choose 3) combinations of coven = 4. out of the 14 other players, there are (14 choose 3) total possible combinations that you can guess = 364 combinations. number of winning combinations / total combinations gives you 4/364 = 1/91 chance of winning. If there are only 3 coven in the game, there is only (3 choose 3) 1 winning combination, so a 1/364 chance of winning
