I started playing this game when I was a little kid as well I was born in 01 and found wizard 101 when I was like 7 then about a year later I found pirate 101 and fell in love with the board game combat and the ship combat aspect but forgot about the game and picked it back up about 2 months ago and have never been happier. I’m so glad that people are returning to the game.

Hurrah! I am very exited - it has been a long 8 years in the wilderness, but Pirate101 LIVES! A new card, a new pack, and now a new chapter - all in the last couple of months. The future looks bright. One wrinkle - it looks to me like the experience cap has not been lifted, and we are still halted at level 70. Has anyone seen KI say anything about this issue? I have (*cough*) 22 pirates, over a quarter of whom are level 70...

I tried Wizard 101 and never got the motivation to continue and pirate 101 came out and it was easier to understand early game content (even if i wasted a few crowns on a nice boat over continuing the story) I got all the way to just shy of gortez in about 3 months afterschool and i just remember never logging into wizard after that it was my style of gameplay chessboard style moves you planned ahead for. little luck of the draw in early abilities i knew what i was getting. A year ago I saw it release on steam and i thought "well now i wish i knew how the story ended" and found a playthrough by blaze something and got invested into the game again enough to runthrough on a new steam account the free version and hit new roadblocks i feel like you got further in old pirate101 then the rat cave. i could of sword i got as far as gullet in the old version. But then I saw the build up in Marleybone a whole massive fleet graveyard and then to the machine cane built stopping short of el dorado and i thought "why stop here? there's a lot of world left to see and id like at least a glimpse of el dorado" and then i heard that pirate had been in maintenance mode for a few years. I felt sad knowing that my old pirate probably had the account cleared years prior and my old ship was gone and then i remembered i had started playing a different pirate game called Sea Of Thieves and it had the elements I loved of Pirate101 the ship fighting the world building and even if its had its own highs and lows it was kept alive by its community for 6 years and i wish i could have done the same for pirate.
