I love this! I grew up eating Nasi Kuning and a lot of times Indonesian recipes intimidate me so I don't even try to attempt it. But you're inspiring me to! You make it look so easy! Thanks for sharing!

Terima kasih voor dit recept. Laatste keer dat ik het heb gegeten is alweer 10 jaar terug elke zondag bij mijn oma. Feestje..

Zo leuk dat je dit bij oma at. Zo lief: elke zondag een feestje. :) Ik hoop dat je 'm een keer in de rijststomer maakt!

I love your channel. The simple explanations. Can I make your recipes without an electric rice steamer?

I love the taste and aroma of using fresh kunyit in this rice. Thank you! Could you possibly show us how to make Indonesian krokets with peanut sauce. I can't seem to find the proper tasting recipe.

Thank you! What kind of krokets do you mean?

@@PisangSusu Hello there! Thank you for responding. I believe it was potato with ground beef or lamb, or maybe it was a combination of both meats. Many years back at an Indonesian Consulate event in San Francisco is where I had this as part of the appetizer course. They were small meatball sized and perfectly seasoned with an absolutely delicious mildly spiced peanut sauce, although they were great without the sauce as well. Sadly, there are no Indonesian restaurants in the city I now live in. I hope you can guide me to a good recipe. Thank you and good health to you and your loved ones!

@@donneone This sounds like Dutch bitterballen! They have the same flavor as kroket. Not really Indonesian but a great idea with peanut sauce. Going to write it down in my planning and will make it sometime soon. Thanks for the great idea!
