I really appreciate how you divide your videos into this labeled segments. I always watch them from the beginning till the end, but it's really useful when I want to get back on something. Thank you so much for your effort, for these interesting topics covered in your videos and for this particular one. :)

OMG - how many times have I been on the airplane cobbling together my version of Janine's Frankendeck! Such great tips to break the cycle of bad storytelling.

Vanessa your content is always gold, this is no exception. Please don't take this the wrong way, but you seem uneasy (fidgety) during the interview. It distracts from what your interviewee is trying to say.

I love the practical framework presented here and am going to buy this book to help me with my presentations. I'm wondering what the opinion is on using a theme such as using movies or characters to carry the story forward. For example, using Ted Lasso as a theme to talk about an aspect of leadership and teach leadership skills.

As a professional voiceover storyteller, I can tell you that most professional video producer write the script first, THEN plug the video into it.

Thanks so much. I just delivered my first visual story with the tips from this video, feels very good! Can't wait until your book is delivered for more inspiration. Only disadvantage is I'll now have to manage conflict with the colleague who created the original deck. Let's find a video by Vanessa on how to handle that :-)

how to improve your pitch meetings by using better powerpoint slides. there fixed the title. has nothing to do with actual "story telling". and why would i listen to an "expert" who doesnt know what words mean, and who says like more often than a teenage girl.
