Kenny's record as a starter is 4-4 so far and he's on the rise. Team is 4-1 in the games T.J Watt played. Team would most likely be 9-3 right now if Watt was healthy all season with the only losses being to BUF, PHI, and CIN.

I was SO impressed by Micah Fitzpatrick going out of bounds at the 5 instead of trying to fight for a touchdown on his INT. If he goes out of bounds, there's basically a 100% chance the Steelers win. But if he fights for that touchdown and fumbles, disaster could happen. That's a veteran knowing the situation and putting the sure win in front of his own stat line.

@Baba Ganush Yea but watch the replay. #63 of the Falcons would have made it a close play at the goal line. If MInkah would have had to dive for it or contact that player, a fumble could happen. He took all risk away.

@Baba Ganush highly unlikely yes. But it happened earlier this year in the Jets vs Browns game. Nick Chubb scored instead of going down to end the game. Jets get a touchdown, onside kick, and another touchdown to win the game.

All it took was Diontae Johnson showboating while running towards the endzone 'once' while playing Madden 23 (of which he got stripped of the ball), and I immediately let him go. I get that it's a video game, but if the game is based on real football players and what they do on the field, matched up with what Diontae has been actually doing, then it tells me that the Steelers need to either bench him for Gunner Olszewski, Steven Sims, or maybe even bring up Ja'Marcus Bradley and Cody White from the practice squad (at least until Calvin Austin III comes off of IR), or they trade/release him. He's not helping if he won't catch the ball.

We cannot keep relying on tampa to keep losing however but that’s our only chance i guess. This game was huge and we knew it but just let it slip away. Good job by the Steelers. It was amazing how the defense consistently double/triple-team against their target (not just stand back and watch).

Yea I was looking at that and at first I agreed cause he should've blocked the first defender closest but I think the guy behind Freirmuth was gonna catch him so Gunner peeled back to block him and it turned out to be the right decision.

I noticed that also. He had three Falcons he could have blocked and he missed them all. Anyone in that situation would practically have to TRY to avoid blocking a Falcon, but he figured out a way to miss them all.

Pickett is playing efficiently, and is obviously growing week to week which is all you can really ask of a rookie QB. A lot of fans want us to lose for a high pick in the draft, but I would rather see us win some games with Pickett at QB, so that we can at least have some confidence that we have a QB that can win us some games going into next season.

Happy for Kenny… the more wins this year the further away from temptation from the top 3 QBs in the Draft Let hope they pick a couple of good linemen and a CB

@kevinmcintyre29962 жыл бұрын
As a Falcons fan, I am not impressed with Marcus' accuracy. Probably would have won a few more games if he could hit open receivers downfield. I hope he works on this I thought he would be better than this. I want our rookie to get some playing time and see how the team responds to him.
@billyyank58072 жыл бұрын
Then go show us how it's done.......go be a nfl quarterback with defensive lineman and linebackers breathing down your neck every play. His receivers gotta get open and his offensive line needs to give him time.

That’s always been his issue. Accuracy or lack of it.

You already know Bernhardt clicked real well with Ridder during the preseason (sucks that he's in IR right now...) Ridder has a better arm than Mariota does and is the faster running QB in the league right now, so I think he would be an improvement over Mariota from multiple aspects. Hopefully he syncs up real well with the current starters and plays some good games to finish the year.

I thought there was NO WAY IN HELL the Steelers would notch their 19th straight season without a losing record in 2022, and it's still unlikely, BUT, it's becoming possible. If somehow this team can finish the year 4-1? Or even 3-1-1? Don't get me wrong, still a longshot, but respect to Coach Tomlin for getting his players to fight to the end this year.

By the looks of it if we were to win every game going into wild card we might get a slot but it's looking tough we would have to beat the Bengals twice the ravens once and browns once. Plus we would need some losses in several divisions. But if we did manage to win every game leading up we have a good chance of a winning season. Regardless I am so proud of this young team stepping up and making a splash. Minkah and Pickett are just the best my new favorites for sure!

It is one of the frustrating things with being a Steeler's fan for the past decade. When we make the playoffs, you almost know we have no chance to win a game. This is not a Steeler's team that can beat the Bills or KC. Even the year we started 11-0, by the time the playoffs started you kinda knew we weren't going to win anything.
