Hands down the best Ebbs reviews on the Tube. Top work. The Pivot looks mint, I wish I had the moneys.

Very interesting analysis by a very nice person, but what I remember most is the smile and wonder you had from beginning to the end of this video. It's obvious that you loved this bike, despite the few negative points, including the derailleur control, which I was the most surprised to hear! I just ordered this bike in Pro version, size M, same color during Black Friday with a very nice 20% discount, I couldn't miss it. Not only does the Pivot Shuttle AM seem to be the perfect EMTB, it looks perfect too! TY 👍 I can't wait to see your next video: Levo Gen 3 vs Pivot Shuttle AM

I've been watching this bike a bit now. I prefer the LT but not until it has the Bosch motor ! Personally I think the 650wh battery would be better as for regular rides it's slightly lighter & for longer days add the 250wh extender ?
@ioannisparaskevopoulos1120 Жыл бұрын
Bosch for me too for the LT
@EMTBReview Жыл бұрын
Definitely. I would buy the $9k bike with the 625wh battery. Same weight as the expensive models with big batteries. Then on big expedition rides, have the 250wh extender ready. I'm only 150 lbs though and love to pedal. Heavy riders need that big battery to keep up withthe Levo buddies.
@viktormichalek2376Ай бұрын
@@EMTBReview In theory, can you just drop the motor on the Ride model and swap the 625wh battery for a 725wh model? How long would it take?

Nice bike for sure! Closest competitor would be Trek Rail 9.9 CXR Gen 4 I believe as it has identical Bosch power and otherwise very similar weight, frame shape and component specs.
@EMTBReview Жыл бұрын
Yeah! I do feel thought that the Trek Rail needs a major revamp. They were leaders before with Bosch but been slow to get rad.

Levo Pro is soooo legit. Top crown is really between this and Levo. they both ride so well. The Bosch Gen4 motor is now better than the rest.

2024 Heckler for $6.5k on sale or Pivot Shuttle AM for $9k (roughly equivalet builds). What's your call Francis?
@EMTBReview11 ай бұрын
Pivot Shuttle AM if funds allow it. The Bosch motor is just that much better than Shimano, especially when the 250watt extender battery becomes available. And this platform is now plush and buttery, appropriate for emtbs.
@freezer423011 ай бұрын
@@EMTBReview Thanks for the quick reply Francis! How does the AM compare to the Heckler in descending? My use case is DH laps in Marin- steep fire roads up and tech down that I'd usually take my Firebird on, but want to do more laps.

It is fine. I was trying out another wheelset and was also trying to mullet this bike. So I had a different tire for this photo shoot. Matched the Levo rear tire so had to try it as well.

Are these actually selling for 14 grand, or discounted? My recently purchased Kenevo that works out to about $4,400 US, I admit is not the same bike, but even with some upgrades including better wheels, is still a FAR better value, and is a wicked fun ride.
@EMTBReview Жыл бұрын
Currently, there are no discounts. Since these bikes are so new, they were not overproduced. And that $14k version is limited since Bosch only gives each premium manufacturer 500 race motors each. The other brands overproduced 2023 inventory and that's why the discounts are pretty amazing.
@WilliamrikerNCC1701 Жыл бұрын

Awesome bike indeed! Do you think a Fox 38 or a Zeb would be more appropriate for us heavier riders just like on the Levo? Keep up the good work!
@mikes.8305 Жыл бұрын
On the Levo I found the cascade long travel link to really help heavier or more aggressive riders. I know you are asking about the fork, if you are heavy and ride hard you may feel some flex on the 36 but average riders even on an e-bike probably can’t tell. The cascade link though allows you to run less pressure in your rear shock which helps heavier riders. You will need a new shock if you go up to the 170 travel, but man was it worth it for bottom out support. That X2 maxes out at 300 psi and I was blowing thorough the travel constantly. Personally I prefer the 38 on the Levo and if you do more steep descents over forking to 170 was amazing on that bike especially because you can change the head angle to get back to almost the same as stock mid setting. Sorry to jump in on your post!

@@mikes.8305 No worries and thanks for the feedback...I asked Pivot and they told me I can use a 38 but only up to 160mm
@mikes.8305 Жыл бұрын
lol I didn’t read so good. 😅. Weird on the pivot as it seems like it would be more a shredder bike.

Most definitely. Big stanchion forks really benefit aggressive and heavy riders with demanding terrain. Many other folks want it but don't need the Fox 38.

my friend has it and its really fun and a very good bike. but you know what, i prefer the relay pnw over it. its not "better" per se, but its more fun (mainly due to weight I think), comes mullet out of the box and has just enough power. yes, the pivot is a bit better steering-wise but its not a big deal imo (in exchange the relay is more stable at higher speed)
@EMTBReview Жыл бұрын
We've been riding the Relay and Pivot Shuttle SL too with the Fazua motors. Very good bikes for sure and sufficient power. The big downside consideration is range. Also reliability and refinement of the Fazua is still evolving.
