10:27 The moment where Happyness says "It's ok, we need this" really show the audience how much she has grown. I mean remember the first movie? She just saws the bad in Sadness, and trys to keep her away atr all cost. Like many people do. Not realizing, yes sometimes tears are needed. We have this function for a reason.

Happyness? Do you mean "Project Happyness" By the CIA Where selected people in Cedar Rapids, Iowa were unbeknownst to them, brainswashed to think that their parents were dead and isolated them from their parents and then after around 5 years would bring their parents to them and they died due to Happyness after the CIA altered their brain structure to overload Happyness in them to make their brains fry themselves?

Inside out is the most creative franchise i've ever seen. Second movie is absolutely masterpiece and i wish we got third movie because both movies are so emotional. In my life i cry two times on movies, both times on Inside Out 1 and 2. Such a masterpiece, ABSOLUTELY CINEMA!

Something i love about this sequel is Riley's new older design, it's something i was missing from most sequels, cause usually the main characters dont change to much between movies (Cars for example)

my psychology class were taken to see this movie when it first released, i remember that everyone in my class was crying by the end, and as teenagers we could all relate to ryley on a very personal level. i wish we had spent more class time after the fact just analysing the whole movie, analysing ryleys thoughts and the accuracy of her anxiety attack. i wouldve loved to do an assignment about it. but unfortunately our assignments are usually scientific reports so it wouldnt have worked :(

I feel like the only real reason why this movie works while other sequels don't is because inside out 2 has an actual reason for existing. Moana 2, frozen 2, every single Toy Story after 3, wreck it Ralph 2, zootopia 2, none of them really had a reason to exist outside of "studio execs want money" Inside out 2 makes complete sense because the first movie takes place with Riley being a child so yeah obviously having her as a teen is going to add a lot of change to the world that makes complete sense. And dream production having her as that in between phase was great too. Inside out is such a big concept that you could find original scripts for every stage of Riley's life just because of how complex the human mind is

It would be cool if they added instinct as an emotion because in shows and stuff it’s a common trope that characters always say they can feel there instinct telling them to do something

I love this movie more than words can describe. I don't care that the plot is similar to the first one. (I do care about the allegations of Disney/Pixar mistreating and firing workers so they wouldn't get the bonus because this movie made all the money) As a psych student who's studying to become a therapist, this movie is a masterclass in accurately depicting the highs and lows of adolescence psychology which was a class I was taking when I saw this movie. Every time I thought this movie was going to do something disappointing and cliche with the teen experience, it refreshingly did instead the opposite thing I wanted it to do. Delivering a mature, well researched story that is perfect for all ages (especially teens and adults) and I genuinely think it will help a lot of people deal with anxiety and create some great dinner table discussions anong families where they can talk openly about anxiety and peer issues where they may have not had the words and understanding to before. I certainly wish I had this movie as a kid because I felt like I was alone in feeling the way that I did. Also bi Riley confirmed even though Pixar did its best to try to excise any queer themes and failed miserably 😂

These New Emotions are a bit of a Diverse casting voice like: Anxiety is American Envy is African American Ennui is French And Embarrassment is Asian American Which is a some good choices except the new actors for Disgust and Fear.
@ZacharytheRockoGuy4 күн бұрын
Of course they are, I really loved Ennui's voice! And I agree what you said to Fear, even Tony Hale was perfect for Fear's new voice actor, I still prefer Bill Hader as the voice actor of Fear.

20:33 I’m pretty sure he’s specifically a Mickey Mouse stand-in, since he very much mimics the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show. The main reason I think that is because Pouchy acts almost exactly like Toodles

The only thing that could have made this movie better would have been if Riley didn't get what she wanted in the end. If there had been more consequences. Because yes anxiety is often out of control but there can be consequences for our actions without them making us a bad person.
