This is a great video! I love that you talk more about the philosophy of pixel art and larger concepts. Really well done info! :)

you could avoid all that "zooming in/out dance" in your presentation by pressing F7 and letting we see the miniature while you draw the bigger picture :) #justsaying great video tho

@@SolarLune Hey man, I don't mean to intrude upon your time or suggest you should do something different about your channel, but I'm interested if you plan on making more Pixel Art tutorial videos. After watching much of your series, I have found that you've changed both techniques and art programs over time. I personally would enjoy some updated and properly-structured content if you think you'd have fun with it ☺️

I just wanted clarification because armadillos don't normally have spikes. Thank you for the reply. Also thank you for the pixel art tips videos!

+theIHK chanel I dunno about 2D specifically, as depending on the engine choice, it's the same. But I suppose I could, sure. Not sure when I'll get around to it, though.
@TheBlueAnt8 жыл бұрын
+theIHK chanel Well what part of the game? and what type of gameplay? For an platformer, you need Y and X velocities, and clipping (Wall detection) scripts.

that is hard to animate too much noise
@SolarLune4 жыл бұрын
It's not that large, nor is it particularly noisy, in my opinion. However, you make a good point - noisy sprites are more difficult to animate. That doesn't mean sprites should lack detail, though~
