Maybe it doesn't sound (read) too great as a comment, but I'd like to say that what I liked the most here was the final retouching of the whole sheet, at 8:21 - placing everything neatly, texts, fonts. I really love this polished up presentation of the whole process and final result, as it's so much more thought than just "I painted a robot" :) Great job!

Holy moly, it's amazing how far you developed this idea in this concept video. It felt like there was just more and more to see 🤩 I really enjoyed the part in the beginning where you went through the thought process behind the design. Asides from just looking cool, I really appreciate when there's thought put into how things like these function. The animal-like legs are my favourite part, it reminds me of some of the robots at Boston Dynamics 🤖 The final presentation is totally rad too, really digging the character design and the choices in that 3-tone palette! 🏍😎

Thanks! It was fun to continue exploring a lot of the associated visuals; having that additional context really helps for imagining a full world out of this :D Should explore a design based on the creepy BD dog robot too; imagine one of those large enough to ride instead of a motorcycle 😂

you should get a proper pixel art tool like 'Pro Motion NG', it will give you curves, smooth lines, mirror mode, outline circles, rectangle, colour control and you can "paint in dither". Looks like it would speed up your work flow a fair amount.

Is this your real setup? If so, I might recommend an “external” or detached trackpad. It’s basically the trackpad in your Mac, but detached from the computer. Apple sells these and they are amazing. I love their trackpads because you can still use the finger gestures. I haven’t used mouses since I purchased my trackpad and haven’t looked back. Could help you not be so cramped over the laptop as you work on your pixel art.
