I miss my old Snout Spout. I would quietly spray him from my top bunk onto my brother's bed across the room at night time, squirting him with water. He would then scream for my mom to come because he was getting wet. I had to try REALLY hard pretending to sleep and not to laugh as they investigated the leak. 🤣

Something that might have been a nice addition for the non-spraying head: a translucent plastic water-spray effect piece that can port into the end of the snout, so it can have the stationary effect of the action feature without the actual action feature. Maybe that's something they could do for a Masterverse Snout Spout if they ever manage to get around to making him in that line.

Dirty water can have particulates that clog up the water spraying mechanism. So definitely use clean water! I love seeing Mattel going all in with Origins.

I remember having the original Snout Spout as a kid, and it was a unique action figure back then. I'm so happy with the Origin series, and it made me start collecting a few characters and even get Castle Grayskull, and I might pick up this one as well in the future.

Back in the 80s I entered the contest for the movie and won Snout Spout from it. So I'm excited to see him released in Origins and can't wait to get him.

Snout Spout was defiantly a character I was hoping to get in this line just because he's so crazy looking and because I find it interesting how all the big action figure franchises needed to have a firefighter character. He-Man, G.I.Joe, TMNT and Transformers all had them. Makes you wonder why no one every just made a full toy line of firefighter characters. Especially with how fire trucks are some of the most popular toys in the world.

I wasn’t gonna get this guy originally, but I picked him up on sale along with leech, and I’m really enjoying him! The water shooting function is a lot of fun, and he looks a lot better in person in my opinion.

I've been loving the Origins characters and been buying them for my 5-year-old nephew who has been loving them as well, he likes to swap He-Man and Skeletor's body parts and when I visit him he brings out his figures to "fight" and I am always on the losing side lol

I wasn't going to get this figure at first, I've been trying to only get the ones that are really nostalgic for me and I never had this figure as a kid or have really even known of his existence until I saw the classics version years ago. But, he's a figure with a huge robot elephant head so yeah, I pre-ordered one, haha. I'm glad I did, your review made me want the figure now instead of waiting for a pre-order, but I haven't been seeing any new Origins figures in stores so I'll probably be waiting on big bad to get him.

I remember getting Snout Spout as a kid. I remember getting him as a stand alone new figure and not a wave. So loved adding him to my collection. Always liked the character so hope to get this one. Love my Classics one too just wish I had that alternate head you got. Also like this has the old school toy head and a Filmation like one

Great coverage! Thank you! I'm pondering getting this to replace the MOTU Classics Snout Spout head with its disintegrate-while-you-watch trunk, but I'm also hoping someone from Shapeways or similar will make an articulated replacement trunk for Classics Snout Spout, too. (HINT, HINT. 😉 )

OMG, that squirting feature is so corny, I love it! So, if I’m understanding your review correctly, basically the main head is only for “display” purposes and isn’t compatible with the action feature. Only option for squirting water is using the alternate head. Interesting… Can’t wait to get my hands on these and show my son at some point!

I'm not really into this line anymore because I don't like playing the game with all the resellers, but I really hope I find this one in stores, was always my brothers favorite and he still has the original.
