I didn’t even know he was sick. I can look past the murders, but the hypocrisy… it’s the hypocrisy that gets me. Just reminds me of that tragedy, had to go through blood and bones in search for my wife and a waiter… turns out they were in northern Canada.

My theory: It was his son, Jason. He had a weird obsessive thing with Nicole (possibly sexual, he was known to "accidentally" attempt to walk in on her while she was showering or getting dressed) but also seemed like he hated/resented her. For those unaware, Jason was his oldest son (who was 24 at the time of the murders) from OJ's first marriage to his (black) high school sweetheart. Jason was in elementary/middle school when OJ first started stepping out on Jason's mom (who was pregnant at the time) and sleeping with Nicole (who was an 18 year old waitress at the time 30 year old OJ met her at some country club). Around this same time, Jason's 2 year old sister drowned in the family pool while Jason was supposed to be looking after her (possibly because OJ wasnt around due to fooling around with Nicole) so it seems plausible that he may have harboured feelings of hatred and resentment towards her because of this specifically, (and also just generally bc it was her "fault" for OJ ditching his family and marrying the hot young white girl and devoting all his time and attention to her and their new cute little biracial kids.) other background evidence: Jason was arrested at least 4 times, incuding a DUI, driving with a suspended license, and most notably assault with a deadly weapon. This is what was found in his trash shortly after the murders Jason had violently attacked one girlfriend with a knife, almost killing her, and had assaulted another in the years leading up to the murders. At the time of the murder, he was on probation for attacking his boss with a kitchen knife. he had been diagnosed with intermittent rage disorder which is commonly referred to as Jekyll and Hyde syndrome. This would make him prone to angry and violent outbursts. He had also begun abusing alcohol, ecstasy, and cocaine as early as age 14 and medical records show that he had at least 3 recorded suicide attempts. this is a transcribed version of a handwritten note that was found in one of his diaries from the time of the murders where he refers to himself in the 3rd person and also as 3 distinct people he had been taking depakote for his rage. six months before the killings, Jason went to the emergency room because he heard voices of people who weren't there and said he felt as if he was "going to rage" because he ran out of Depakote. He stopped taking Depakote two months before the murders. The night of the murders, Nicole and the family had promised him they were going to come dine at the restaurant where Jason worked as a cook, but then changed plans at the last minute and never showed up, presumably launching Jason into a rage. Nicole had a large Akita guard dog, that presumably would have been losing its shit over an intruder that was unfamiliar/not a part of the family. Neighbours noticing the white dog wandering around covered in blood is how the police were first called to the scene The scene: LAPD found 15 unknown fingerprints at the scene, none of which matched O.J. The prints were never compared with Jason's. There was also blood and skin found under Nicole’s fingernails that did not match O.J.’s DNA. Much of "OJ's" DNA that was used in the case was a 99% match for an African american male in OJ's family, but not necessarily a match for OJ specifically. The black knit cap found at the scene had numerous dog hair fibres in it. OJ did not own a dog. Jason had a receding hairline and was known to constantly wear knit caps, and there are several photos of him cuddling with his dog while wearing a black knit cap. Ron Goldman was a 3rd-degree black belt in peak physical condition, and had bruised hands suggesting he had fought back against his attacker. it was determined that the physical struggle between goldman and his attacker may have lasted as long as 15-20 minutes. O.J. stripped down to his underwear and was examined and photographed by LAPD a day after the murders and showed no signs of bruising or injuries whatsoever, outside of the infamous cut on his finger that he lied and changed his story about several times (although notably, there was no corresponding hole in the bloody glove where OJ's cut was, so it would seem unlikely that the cut could have happened during the murders if OJ was the one who did it and was wearing the glove at the time). Jason’s DNA was never requested by the police nor was he interviewed by LAPD. While certainly an imposing physical figure, it's worth remembering that OJ was also 46 years old at the time (Goldman was 26) and had bad knees from his football days that would have significantly limited his mobility/athleticism. Jason was 24 at the time, had hand to hand combat training from spending time at the Army Navy academy after he left high school, and was also a big ass scary looking dude the person who committed the murders would have been absolutely covered in blood from head to toe, and it seems very unlikely that OJ would have been able to drive home in the bronco with that single tiny drop of blood on the door being the only blood he brought from the scene. unless he had a complete change of clothes with him and some way to clean himself off. Jason drove a 1993 soft top Jeep at the time, which was never investigated or searched, and reportedly was left outside in the rain while uncovered/with the top off shortly after the murders. years later, a private investigator purchased the contents of an old storage locker owned by Jason at the time of the murders, and had a forensic scientist examine a knife found inside, and he concluded that the butt of the knife matched the initial blunt force injury blow Nicole suffered at the top of her head before being stabbed. At the restaurant where he worked, Jason’s time card for the night of June 12 (which was his alibi for the murders, since the time card showed that he was at the restaurant when the murders were taking place) was handwritten, even though the electronic time clock was working, and no other employee that night had a handwritten timecard. A fellow employee later told a private investigator that Jason had told them he was closing up and going home early because it was slow that night. Jason lied about his whereabouts after leaving work and said he was with his girlfriend. It later came out during the civil deposition that he had lied. He then claimed he was home alone after work. No alibi. In the days after the murders, and four days before his own arrest, O.J. hired top criminal attorney Carl Jones to represent Jason. However, Jason had never even been interviewed by police nor was he being investigated for the murders. Chris Darden (one of the prosecutors) supposedly wanted to go after Jason as a suspect and bring more scrutiny on that angle, but was rebuffed and told to drop it and focus on OJ some also find it notable that Johnny Cochran and his team during the trial never attempted to exonerate OJ by pointing a finger or suggesting any other alternative explanation of what had happened or who could have done it because they were worried about brining scrutiny on Jason. So TLDR.... the theory is basically that Jason goes to Nicole's house to confront and/or attack her because of the dinner ghosting. She comes to the door expecting Goldman (who was coming by to drop off Nicole's mother's glasses that had been left at the restaurant earlier that night where he worked as a waiter. There was speculation that Nicole and Ron may have been having an affair, but no real proof) instead, it's Jason at the door. She says something that causes him to fly off the handle. He then attacks and kills her, and then either during, or shortly after the killing, Goldman arrives at the scene, and he kills him too. Jason then panics and calls his dad on his cell (this was very early in the days of cell phone usage and cops likely wouldnt have had the capability or thought to check cell records), OJ drives to the scene, tells Jason to get the hell out of there and go home and get rid of any evidence. OJ ends up slightly contaminating the scene and leaves evidence that suggests he WAS present at the scene (tries to steal/hide the bloody glove, leaves the drop of blood on his white bronco, leaves bloody footprints with the distinct shoes he was wearing, possibly touches Nicole's body to check on her or give her one final embrace or whatever, leaves his DNA, etc) So while there is overwhelming evidence that proves OJ was 100% AT the scene of the murders, there is actually pretty much no evidence that directly suggests he actually committed the murders. OJ trying to come to grips with the fact that his cuckoo bananas rage filled alcoholic failure of a son had just murdered his wife would also explain some of OJ's bizarre/borderline suicidal behaviour in the days and weeks directly following the murders.

Fun fact Ask any man with leather clothing, or anyone who's left leather outside after a cold night. Leather shrinks especially if its reheated and cooled several times. Back in the day they froze evidence to preserve it ... The gloves were dethawed and refrozen over a dozen time by being "examined" from the defense team. The gloves fit him, the gloves just shrunk because of the constant heating and freezing by the defense

58:30 Some hidden lore about the OJ trial; there's a creditable theory that the Jury voted innocent because they were all mistreated. All the jury were forced into rooms without tv's or outside contact for nearly a year because of the trail was extremely public so not to compromise their statements with outside influence (there's a term for this but i forgot what its called). The jury was so spiteful that they were forced to live in a tv-less room with barely any stimuli for a year that out of spite they all voted innocent despite the overwhelming evidence. The jury is a hidden antihero for the entire OJ trial.
