Wasn't America worried that north Vietnam was being influenced by communist powers and that's why we got involved in the war, because South Vietnam wanted to stay democratic and we stepped in around that time? Totally communism vs democracy.

@@lordautist759 also it was the Vietnamese struggle for their own freedom by kicking out the French. When the French couldn't keep hold the US stepped in.

@@lordautist759from what I remember there was a big thing about the French having some kind of power vacuum happen in a bunch of places simultaneously and the US didn’t want to directly back them, so Jim Morrisons dads boat sploded and that got the ball rolling..

Sitting in a que for a long time is incomparible to not being able to afford healthcare for your entire life. Of course we think we want universal health care, it's the only way to prevent an inevitably health crisis.

So there is a version of this, for military spouses and military in general. We get free healthcare. And yeah, it sucks ass. Takes forever to get an appointment, and then the doctors are worse than regular public GPs.

@@staplerwatercup4605 Yea Urgent Cares are beyond fucked in terms of wait times and the amount of doctors/nurses there. I'd truly rather pay less taxes and have to pay more for medical care because unless you're sick/injured often its just not worth it imo. almost 14% sales tax feels so bad when it can take YEARS to get an appointment with a surgeon.

That John caparulo guy had great points up until he started talking about the moon. The stuff about JFK sounded honest and interesting but then he starts sounding crazy with "you are going by what 'they' tell you" yeah the stuff based on science like of course the dark side of the moon is unhabitable. No light = no heat which means its so frigid you would freeze to the bone. Fucking Futurama had jokes about it!

France wanted Vietnam back after we liberated them from Japan. We didn't even want to go to war until France threatened to join Russia. That's why Vietnam doesn't hold a grudge against us cause we were kinda forced into without knowing the truth.
