Namaste Jyoti, you can try both, some days focus on only one plane, mostly frontal and trasverse, and some days you focus on multplanar training, all the planes together but after a good warmup, take care, Namaste

Namaste Pundriji, Thank you for watching the video and your comments, its always safe to bend the knee because the pressure or discomfort is less on your back, but if you do not have any back issues, no worries you can straighten the leg and do ta Padhastasana.
