Hi Doctor Sean Hasmi MD, You are doing a great job for this world. My question is when we are on dialysis, our body will lack of nutrition, right? Should we consider any supplement?

There are some water soluble vitamins lost through the dialysis process. There are renal specific vitamins that are often recommended for people that are on dialysis to replace these losses. Make sure to talk with your nephrologist and renal dietitian to see which is best for you!

Thanks for the insightful informatoin about kidney health. I'm getting more questions lately about failing kidneys and what can be done to save them. Getting off the animal protein, which burdens our kidneys, is a great first step.

Can you put me in touch with a nutrition therapist in the Dallas Ftw. Area? I'm on Dialysis and trying to do everything correctly. I need some help from people like Michelle! I love your channel.
