Vitamins and supplements? Can you take too many vitamins and supplements. all of the pills I take are all minimal mg's of each, which I take only 1 per day each. I also eat a mostly plant based diet but it is not a vegetarian one. I am a male 70 years old have a EGFR of 92. To my knowledge do not have any ailments other than Thyroid, which I take a Synthroid for and is under control. I just got this reading on my 3 month blood work and have a scheduled meeting with my doctor this wed. But am trying to learn what I can on my own before this meeting. I have a 6 cm angiomyolipoma on same kidney and a 2.5 cm tumor with suspicion of Renal Cell Carcinoma- a triphase CT was done. Veins seen on US. I heard it's rare for a benign & malignant to be together. I had embolization 17 years ago for my 16 x18cm AML wrapped around my kidney. My urethers are very delicate & after every op, they put in stents for 1 month. I had hydronephrosis before, and I now receive UroCit K for kidney stone prevention ( 2018 op to remove 16 stones). I am 65 years old and work in Hematology Lab. Could I have RCC without bleeds & and protein? My tests were normal. I also read that ablation is used for tumors less than 3 cm but since it's with the AML, I wonder whether they'll remove partially the damaged kidney area.
