This is a great video Dainty. Don't plant Fallopia Auberetti, honestly this is a hybrid of Japanese knotweed and no joke if it gets near your house or your neighbours it can devalue your home by thousands! It can get through brick and concrete the lot! Don't do it. Do ivy or wisteria or something instead. Much love

I appreciate you saying you are grateful for trees planted by others in the past. We lived in our house for over 10 years and we planted a cherry tree and an apple tree in the front garden. We sold in 2018 and looking on Google earth the new owners have ripped out the trees and gravelled the whole front garden. Makes me sad that they killed the trees 😢. Wish I’d taken them with me but the move probably would have killed them too.

Catherine, I love, love, love your videos. You always inspire me. Please be careful with the Fallopia. It's common name is 'the mile-a-minute- plant' and it's very, very invasive. People use it to quickly cover up eyesores. Good luck!

Catherine, great video, loving your garden missy💕 I’ve just left my gorgeous garden in France 3/4 acre of land that was nothing 11 yrs ago, but I filled it with everything and anything, but I made a jasmine area around the outdoor kitchen, oh the climbing jasmine was beautiful it smelt divine when I’m flower, also a jasmine clematis which I can’t find at the moment 😡 it covered a load of trellis with 1000s of sweet smelling white flowers glorious, Best tip ever was grow in a big tub … borage plant let it flower then cut back, put into a bucket cover with water and let it rot, it stinks!! But when the smell has gone bottle it! It’s amazing stuff for fertilising do the same with nettles, so borage for starting feed then nettle for fertiliser… oh dilute 10water to 4 stinky ok and it costs nothing so natural too 💖xx
