This video brings back great memories of my dad and I transplanting tobacco. He began back in the early 60 with a Bemis 2 row drawn transplanter (sometimes drawn with mules). In the early 70's he began using a 4 row Holland drawn planter where the fertilizer and water drums were mounted forward of the setters. With the advent of green houses came the carousel transplanters. Holland and Mechanical tried their hand at the carousel's ,however, the Italians already had it perfected. We finished our tobacco operation (2018) with two Checchi and Magli eight row transplanters. My dad grew 58 tobacco crops and farmed for 62 years before his death.

I think Kaley would have a gold mine in that denim shirt I'm 67. And would love buying it. ...and wearing..I wear bibbed overalls and would rather have patches any day than paying almost a $100.00 in Indiana...love the planting video

Y'all are going to have enough sweet potatoes to feed half of Caswell County. The planter worked great and the rows look good. All the best from Greensboro NC.
