It's all down to personal preference. Not everyone wants to or is able to remove the wheels from the car. Either way you do it, as long as you're happy with the end results that's all that matters. Thanks for watching!

@@dipyourcar great videos and totally understand i have used your kits in the past ...and find you can lay a much more even coat down and be more Consistent in a layers when the wheel is level (flat on the ground or work table) You and I have done tons of wheels and cars but for the average person plasti dip can be tricky for a person who has never painted before

Sure you could mask it any way you want personally I'd remove the wheel to do this. I recon they do it that way to emphasize that this product is removable and fast

he uses a product on the wheels which doesn't allow the overspray to stick .. and if a lil overspray gets on the paint or walls, it actually comes off with a micro fibre towel pretty easy

there’s simply no need for that. If you know how to control an aerosol can, you don’t get any overspray on the car at all. Maybe if your car is slammed and you don’t have a gap, then some extra masking could come in handy. Remember this isn’t traditional “paint”, if someone did get overspray by accident, it buffs right off 👍
