I was half expecting something violent or gory to happen at some point, but somehow I knew that you wouldn't bring it to that place, and it fits. It's almost like there's this threat that things could go off the rails any minute, and the fact that they never do is really powerful and anxiety inducing. Loved it!

I try to take a year off from watching my favorite animators, so I was delighted to come back to a handful of videos from one of my top five favorites. But I am very disappointed to hear David censor himself, especially in such a dark and powerful scene. The modern internet environment has broken this genius of a human being, apparently scared to be subjected to "cancel culture" or just the inconsistent content flagging that this particular platform contains.
