if we are offering him a 5 year deal he must be asking for a pittance - likely considering his age and the league he's coming from it's probably a 20 - 30k /week deal, he wants 5 years? no problem at that wage! for perspective thats 2x to 3x johnsons, tim obviously didn't think johnson was worth 60k a week and neither do i, you know the type of RB tim can get with that type of money? far better than johnson

Mavropanos needs to be one of the cbs. Shame Aguerd cannot be patient and wants to leave despite Moyes also going. Think Zouma has one season left in his legs tbh.

I'd release Zouma (not good enough), sell Aguerd (doesn't want to be here) and let Oggy go (time to go). No idea who this Bruno is but a 5 year deal for a 28 year old is quite worrying. We know the defence needs sorting though, as our stats have proved for the past two seasons.

@@motr1912 can't release zouma, he's one of the highest paid players, to pay out his contract will take 5m out of our transfer budget why on earth would you hurt your transfer budget and lose a player, there is zero benefit - better off just keeping him on the bench, besides there is a decent chance we can sell him

Not worried about his age, we need to lower our age profile but still need a blend. Looks like a unit and that would give us 3 Ch’s with good pace unless Aguerd does decide to leave.

He has a cap. Not so sure he's ready to don the Brazilian national defender yet, but still....Signing players directly from Brazilian league seems a gamble to me. Always prefer they do a little time in another European league first. That said, can't be worse than what we have, so bring him in.

Two points... So when will he be able to start playing for us as you mentioned he's got to play in two competitions.... Also I wonder is he one of the two marquee centre back positions mentioned or just a squad player.

He has two matches before the transfer window opens. He should join as soon as it does.
