PLAYING A STOCK BOBBLE HEAD TANK - SARC MkIVA

In this video I take a completely stock SARC MkIVA in War Thunder and attempt to get all the modifications to spade it!
This is genuinely one of the most unpleasant tanks I've had the misfortune of playing. The tank is still fun but it's a little bit wobbly and a few features really let it down.
You know... typical British solid shot things! :)

I love this adorable little thing! The main problem I find with it, is that it is really tall and narrow, on a wheeled suspension, without a stabilizer. Due to all the wobbling and bobbing, it takes longer to re-acquire target with it than it takes to reload. Especially so if you fire 90 degrees to your side.

Honestly, I enjoyed you playing first, and then at the end you describe the vehicle. We went into it not knowing, saw how it performed, and we left pondering how the vehicle played. It felt more engaging and interactive in a way. Maybe you could do a poll asking how many people prefer this style?

I really hope one day we do get technicals or even like HUMVEE's etc with mounted 50cals etc etc, yes they might be weak against literally most tanks but make them cost barely any spawn points in comparison, would make great scout vehicles and somewhat anti air

I just watched your AuF1 video and I noticed that the rocket holder things from your F4U-7 didn't drop when they were empty, idk if it has an impact on flight perfomance if they are still connected, maybe it doesn't but if it does it would be better to turn on "Empty weapon containers automatic jettison" that drops them as soon as no rockets are left. (Just a suggestion).

For a lot of vehicles, I play them enough to research all modifications, but don't actually buy all of said modifications. Tanks with stabilizers don't need suspension, most don't need more gun accuracy, and I've never gotten any benefit from using the funny Soviet smoke cans, so I just leave those off to save SL upfront and on repairs. Unfortunately, it means I don't get that nice spade mark even on vehicles I play a lot.

Hi OddBawZ - it's OK to admit you have OCD when it comes to spading vehicles. "Completionist" was the word that tipped me off. That's OK, I'm the same way about spading vehicles too.

The solid shot is basically like hitting the hank with a fast-moving hammer. The solid shot is a bad joke. The 2pd gun was getting outclassed by the improved armour on Axis vehicles by 1942. No wonder that killing an actual tank took several shots. APCBC/T and AP/CNR were 1942 onwards. It is surprising that there was no pure HE shell to deal with soft-skinned vehicles and SPG's with unprotected crews.
