Leeroy can especially go well with those who don't know him (like 90% of the characters on Tekken) in fact he is one of the characters that I can play better against, a good Steve is practically always safe, I am a bushi meme with Steve but as soon as you rank up you find someone who knows how to use him well it is no longer a problem because they adapt to the opponent. in my opinion you can't say that a character is stronger because it is used less, it's simply the player who has to learn it

As a Dragunov main, I enjoyed every second of this video! :) Yes, Dragunov is a strong character and fairly easy to play (in a brainless way). But let’s be honest, guys: what we’re seeing here is a legacy player (with around 25 years of Tekken experience, right?) and 420K Tekken Prowess effortlessly dismantling players with around 250K Tekken Prowess. In any other game, this would be called smurfing. And everyone’s like, 'Oh, Dragunov is sooo broken.' :)

Now they could switch to a stronger character but they'd have to learn it from the start, while they already learned dragunov from the first month of the game and it's good enough. Since he's picked a lot for this reason everyone is complaining about it. Everybodys talking about 50/50s, too much plus frames, heat smashes, but no one about rage arts tho. This mechanic slow the pace of fight so fkcing much and dont tell me, that im mad cuz i propbaly get hit with them a lot, when we even in pro play it is used a lot. I feel like in game like tekken 8 when we have so much options and the game is designed to be aggresive, it just doesnt make sense to still be there.

I know ill get a lot of heat for this but Drag deserves to be top tier. He's been 💩 since tekken 5 DR. I dont mind Devil Jin Steve and Kazuya being weak in Tekken 8. The only fix is Bamco should raise the execution level on Lilly Yoshi Shaheen Dragunov Feng Nina and King. Vice versa they should simplify the input level of Steve Devil Jin and Kazuya if they're still intended to be at the bottom tiers. Going through multiple mechanics like heat smash dash into wavedashes microdashes and stances to hit a combo that does 45% meanwhile the beginner Dragunov lilly Nina combos do like 65%-75% into guaranteed mix ups and oki should require a higher execution level.
