It is pronounced High-lee-an. The Japanese translates in Romaji to Hairia-zoku which would sound something like "High-lee-ah Zokk" If it were Hee-lee-an as some have suggested, when translated into Romaji it would look more like Hiria-zoku, without the "a".

Mipha’s arc of unrequited love is so bittersweet. She ultimately released that if she wasn’t meant to be with Link, that if she truly loved him she does so from afar. Especially some of her lines and her body language. Looking downward and saying she’s happy to play the support role, she’s hurt she can’t do more - be more - for Link than as a supportive ally. And telling him to save her, to save the Princess is her accepting her fate. Makes me wonder if that was intentional writing y’know? That the cleric with a power to heal any wound, would be hurt so much more in the end. Very poetic, and she and Sidon have become two of my favorite characters from this series.

I don't think most people knew that. I only knew because before confronting Vah Ruta, I played around with Cryonis to see if there were any fun things I can do with it like the other Runes, and I found you can manually break them, and I thought the blocks of ice from Vah Ruta looked like Cryonis blocks, and I put two and two together. For most people, Cryonis is the Rune they use the least often, not understanding just how useful it is (albeit in contact sensitive situations), and completely overlooking it as an option.

I have to say, this is reminding me of my own journey in BotW. Mine started with activating every tower to complete the map, then I hunted down as many shrines as I could until I got enough hearts to draw the Master Sword. After I got that, I went for Vah Medo, because I wanted Revali's Gale. My next goal was to get all my memories (and accidentally finding the best shield in the game in the process). It was only after I had finished with the memories that I went back to the Divine Beasts, then used a guide to get all 100 shrines before finally going after Calamity Ganon himself.

The Mipha memory and later the ghost appearance broke my heart, she was my first champion. I'd seen several of Zelda yelling at Link memories before finding the domain so seeing someone who cared about Link back then was a double edged sword... so later seeing the ghost I lost my faint hope that the champions were just trapped in the beasts and i could save them. It hurt so much worse my second play-through when i arrived at Zora's domain knowing about the memory and seeing Mipha... Daruk and Revali seemed so sure that they would win, and Urbosa was worried but she was more focused on Zelda then anything else. Mipha in all the memories seemed to be the only one of the champions who had already accepted that she was going to die. The DlC scene only further cemented it in my theory. As much as i love this game my only problem is that you can't save the other champions further then freeing their spirits.

You can tell he's an early game player at this point. Using flurry rushes to beat a Lynel can clearly work, but it's definitely not the most efficient method, since you'll go through weapons like crazy, as seen here. Best option is to stun him by shooting arrows in his face, then to hop on his back and attack him from there with your strongest melee weapon, because that doesn't cause damage to your weapon.

Hey, I only started watching you a few days ago, but you're already one of my favorite youtubers, you've got great commentary and energy, and I know you'll be massive one day. Best of luck!

DBG, well done sir! Your voice acting was top notch with the Zora's Domain exposition. True to the story, very fitting. Also, from watching your concentration during the Lynel fight on the stream, you are a gamer through and through. Top contender for best BOTW Let's Play. And now that you've experienced this much, you owe it to yourself to get a great belly laugh by watching the Game Grumps' take on the Zora's dialouge. Comedy gold.

And then we learn he's probably the second Link that was heading down Matrimony Way with a Zora Princess.

Ruto clearly wanted to marry OoT Link but they make it clear he doesn't feel the same way. At least Mipha made it to the friendzone!

All the time I was like "Duuude, someone already tell him that he can break the ice with the Cryonis module" and then he just straight up throws them back at him with Stasis. I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT. AND I PLAYED THAT GAME SINCE RELEASE. Damn!

So, something interesting. There is different dialogue for the Lynal quest depending on your progress in the story. I had the Divine Beast done when i finally did it and she mentions that "Despite Ruto calming down, a threat still lingers around Zora's Domain." They really took a lot into account with this game.

As you go along, you'll find certain weapons respawn in a few places. The Zora blade, the hammer by your house in Hateno, a dual axe at some of the stables, the Royal Claymore on the roof of Woodland tower. I think it's when there's a bloodmoon, so you can do the rounds and collect them.

So glad you upload this journey to youtube. I've tried watching live but the chat backseat games too much and it drives me crazy.

Just letting you know that you can break cryonis blocks with cryonis. That would’ve made the divine beast fight a lot easier, but I think it’s awesome that you found another way with the arrows. There’s always multiple ways to do something in this game.

These are so great, I'm so glad my friend recommended these videos to me. I can't believe how good you are at this game?? I was OVERPREPARED for the fights with the lynel and waterblight ganon, and I ended up giving up on the lynel and dying SO MANY TIMES to waterblight ganon. Plus, you started deflecting guardian attacks in episode 1??? You're too good at the game

I started watching your reactions to the memories video and it drew me into this series and I love it! It really reminds me of when I played breath of the wild for the first time all the reactions and finding out crazy things and honestly it’s so awesome to see when people who don’t have much knowledge about Zelda get this involved in it! Really shows what the Zelda community is really about!
