At 17:10, Dylan could have sacrificed the dockside to Rakdos's ability to make it indestructible instead of the one damage from goblin bombardment so it would have survived the lightning axe. It might have helped, as he would have had it during his turn, but hard to say.

The deck is so fun, however timing is everything with it. You really have to know when to jam a win at the right moment.

@@cgatherer82 It's a tricky deck for sure in both timing and your lines. Because of the nature of exiling for value you have to make sure you aren't hosed if you don't hit anything. It also has like minimal protection because Rakdos lol. Super fun deck and every time I win with it the win feels good and like I worked for it.

@@ctromsky5729 Yeah that’s true, having a high density of cards that sac things or sac themselves is key. There’s not a lot of ways to protect wins but you do end up having huge storm turns that let you fight through interaction.

At 13:55 I believe making Cam's team trample would have taken Tyler out. He already took 18 commander damage from Kenrith at that point by my count, and 5 more would put him at 23 commander damage

I know it might clutter the screen in post editing but maybe adding a commander damage marker would help. I know in cedh this is a rare event to happen but pretty sure this would had changed the outcome of the game.

Yes, but actually, no. Tyler would have sacrificed It to Rakdos, and even if Cam reanimates it on the stack to target again, it would be sacrificed to bombardment

at 7:30 the reason you do not invoke the ingot chewer first is because you end up using "saw in half" on it instead and since that says destroy not sacrifice you wouldn't get to exile your top 5 cards. Unless you are saying you would not have done the saw in half for more artifact destruction. the saw in half saying destroy and the copies it makes not being sacrificed to evoke is also why you would not have gotten to exile 15 more cards off rakdos like you mention at the 9:15 mark.

Phimage gets sacrificed before now masters ability resolves. So because there is no longer a target for the ability you don't amass.

There is a period between that and the next clause, but it is after the damage. So, since the damage has no legal targets, the whole rest of the ability fizzles.

no, the amass and the damage are part of the same triggered ability, so because the phantasmal image it was targeting wasn't there anymore when the ability tries to resolve, it fizzles and neither thing happens

with bloomburrow mockingbird could definitely replace phantasmal. I guess you could also say ragavan but in a grindier deck like kenrith i don’t know how good it would be. Plus, I doubt it is reanimated that much most of the time so I don’t know how much it would actually affect stuff

@@hollowoat i believe phantasmal is used with kenrith specifically because you can kill it by targeting it with kenrith and you have reanimation as well, so looping it with dockside is really good. in general i think mockingbird is really good, but i think kenrith wants phantasmal more.
