I had Jenny get pregnant again due to her want. (It was on a clean hood of Strangetown) She ended up with three alien triplets who all take after their dad, including red hair. I love playing their family, their son Johnny married his girlfriend and moved to Downtown. Jill is in college and plans to move to Eden Cove to buy a beach lot, considering she loves the ocean and dolphins 🐬

The Smith/Curious family became one of my favorites to play once I started hosting family dinners every Sunday in my rotation. They all became so close and it was so fun to watch them together, as they added spouses and children too! They have a messed up family tree, but there's a lot of bonds there too!

It turns out to be so weird! Jenny's step-daughters are her half-sisters and those half-sisters are half-sisters of Johnny and Jill as well. Well, that's strangetown!

Please redecorate Johnny's room xD I love the Smith family. I usually give Jill the knowledge aspiration, send her to college, and get her into the Oceanography career since that's the closest thing the game has to "deep-sea welder".

6:05 To be honest keeping their last names "Singles" makes sense since I read somewhere that after PT9 impreginated Glenn, he abandoned them and carried on his life with his wife and had Jenny, Lazlo etc. I don't think they would want the surname of someone who abandoned them but its your gameplay and your choice :)

When I played the Smith's I didn't know about the pre-determined events, so I had Johnny invite Tank to his party and Tank didn't misbehave. Makes me wonder if part of his issue was being excluded. I think I got them to not be enemies anymore - not best friends either just not wanting to fight each other anymore. I don't really dig the fighting so I was happy to get that remedied. Buzz never showed up to Johnny's party either, so the party went smoothly. It's amazing how different play styles with the very same characters can yield such vastly different outcomes. I love this game! ~FM :)

I agree! It's so interesting how everyone's game turns out differently. I'm hoping that the rift between the Grunts and the Smiths can be healed in my game too, but we'll see how it goes! 😀

Let me also mention 17:06 Ripp’s facial expression is stuck locked in disgust/irritation for some odd reason. The game sometimes freezes these things up but it’s nothing game threatening it’s just something I noticed.

Hi Cindy! Yay, your playing one of my favorite families in Strangetown, you can also call him PT# 9, that's what I call him. I like their house, I tried for another kid and she didn't get pregnant, the extra rooming the parents room I would make it a reading room. I don't like Buzz and Tank, I do like Rip and the youngest of the Grunt, also when I play I get Johnny in the Athletic career. Great episode.

I was playing as the Curious brothers and Pascal met Chloe and Lola, it was very weird though because they could flirt and be in a relationship. I’m not sure if Sims 2 counts half siblings as related but I found this very weird. Love your videos as usual❤️

That's something that comes wrong with the "stock" version of Strangetown. There have been a few people who have edited Strangetown (and the other Shipped Hoods) to fix problems within the neighborhoods.

I spoke to soon. The mod I was talking about is called Extended Family treated as Family, but it doesn't appear to fix the problem with the Curious brothers and their half-sisters. I think I will just use the Sim Blender to make them family that way they don't flirt or something due to ACR. Lol

Hi Shaun! Those are great name ideas. I use an alphabetical naming system, so the name of each child born in the 'hood depends on which letter we're on and if there are any relative that we can name the child after as well. 😀

Of course, with Buck Grunt. I also have a little question. I noticed, that on neighborhood view you don't have plumbobs above the families. I'm sure, that you mentioned how to do that in one of the Pleasantview episodes, but I can't find it. So yeah, how can I hide those plumbobs ? 😊

Loved the backstory you gave this family! I have several questions though. First, in the family tree it says 'Tycho' for Pascal's son instead of 'Dax'. Did you rename him? Also, no mention of LTW, college for Jenny, or the aspiration points. If you are working on setting up the story I get it. It was very entertaining and those are more housekeeping details. I know you do things a certain way, so I am assuming you will do them later or did them and didn't mention them, but instead concentrated on the story. Really enjoying your take on Strangetown!

Hey Mary! No, that family tree is the one from the Sims Wiki. I grabbed it to show the entire family tree at once and it included the kid from the PSP game. He's still Dax in my game! As for the other stuff, yes I will get to all that when we do the first round. Since I don't consider this round really a "playing" round if that makes sense. I just wanted to get the backstory done and the scripted events out the way. Then we'll get down to business in the first round! 😀

She doesn't seem that interested in her career, so I'm thinking she probably didn't go (or at least didn't pass). Lol. She's only in level 3 of the medical career so she could have gotten there without a degree.

In my playtime he came but didn’t attack anyone. Basically, because he won a fight against PT9 when the last came over and shoved him. Big mistake. General Buzz didn’t forget and didn’t forgive him that he lost a fight against him and kicked the crap out of him. General felt that taste. Sweet taste of revenge. P.S. PT9 got what he deserved.
