All right guys today we dealt with the atmospheric river coming in. It brought in a lot of wet, heavy snow which created chaos throughout the town. Luckily things went fairly well up until one of our clients had a tenant that wasn’t really happy but you will see that we did the best we could with their place, but they still weren’t happy. It is what it is you’re going to be inconvenienced with this weather and, if you didn’t want to be inconvenienced, don’t live in Mammoth that’s all I have to say about that but other than that things went pretty smoothly. We got all of our equipment up and running moving through the day other than one small issue of gas stations running out of fuel again 395 is closed from Bishop all the way down to Piersonville so there’s some major flooding going on there, we had to get fuel in all of our machines in our fuel cells and just make sure that we were going to make it through the next couple of days because the weather is here🦣

Are we even watching the same content? This guy is a joker, that lady was right, massively unprofessional. He can't even keep the parking lot of his plowing business clear. Too cheap to pay to dump snow, so literally piles it up in front of homes. Runs his heavy equipment out of a residential street driveway. Films while driving, a ticketable crime. Yes, "honorable" indeed lol. Grade A cheapskate douchebag, cruisin around in his giant SUV micromanaging people.

I so appreciate your videos! A tip to help with flooding, I'm in Iowa and have been through a couple historic floods....the sandbags help but water still seeps through that barrier. Put a thick millimeter plastic under the bottom bags in front ( sticking out a couple inches) and then have the plastic come up behind the row of sandbags and fold over the top layer. It can be held down over the top layer with a couple more sandbags or something heavy. The length of the plastic needs to be longer than the garage door by 4+ feet. The extra length needs to come forward towards the driveway to help prevent water from sneaking in through the sides. If the thick mil plastic or tarp is wide enough, it can even be brought over the top of the barrier and back down to the bottom. Two rows of sandbags works the best if you can get enough bags. All of this means you will have to walk over your sandbag wall to get into the garage. Hope this makes sense. Maybe this will be useful to someone else.

From what I have seen of yourself and all your guys, they are all honest, hardworking and thoughtful people. Gotta say, your channel is awesome! As for the disgruntled whiners, I’m 70+. I live in a small apartment complex in Wisconsin. The couple of snows we had that were over 10 inches, I went out myself and shoveled our walkway so that we all could get out and walk dogs, get to cars, whatever. The maintenance guys didn’t get to us for about 2 hours. So what! And guess what, I didn’t die. People are lazy.

Just an observation about the inconvenienced tenants: the person who actually had to shovel away the extra snow in front of the door was _much_ more reasonable in tone than the screaming, histrionic, shrill voice yelling at you from off camera. It's amazing how the owner of that annoying scream - who only watched others do all the actual work - feels like they were the one most put out by what happened. You are 100% correct that this is an extreme event in already extreme location, so people have to expect some inconvenience. If everyone chips in and does their part, that effect can be mitigated. However, if all an individual does is complain, then they're just expecting others to carry their dead weight. And at that point, who cares about their opinion.

As for those whiny ass people, I was burried in my house for 14 days before I was plowed out. I walked out a mile one time to get some food. My WiFi went out and I couldn't even watch your videos for 2 weeks. So like you said, if you think you're not going to be inconvenienced at some point, you have another think coming. When I did get my road plowed out, I couldn't turn my truck around. I had to back out a half mile. 😖 That is what we have this winter in the mountains. 🫡 God Bless! I have lived up here for 40

I think the guy was trying to be reasonable. He was just making a comment about what he was facing when he opened the door. It sounded like both parties were getting defensive especially his wife. I could understand his point of view but again everyone needs to realize this is what you all are facing. Apparently your guy did not use good judgment and should have gotten out to see how far he pushed the snow. I'm sure everyone's tired and wish the whole thing would be over. Honestly when I come into a situation such as this even though I feel I may be right I still look to see if there's something I could have done to prevent that situation from happening again.

I seriously doubt that pile was moved at all, they were making it up I’ve run a bigger loader than those CATs removing snow and you’d see where the door is and you wouldn’t get that close. A skid steer or plow truck probably wouldn’t move that size pile and you’d know you were close to the door regardless. Any snow was from Mother Nature, not a machine. They’re probably trying to get a discount on their rent or something.

If the job is small I’ll tell them to pound sand and good luck finding someone to deal with there miserable ass. Most of the time they have no clue what it takes to run business and how much hard work it takes. Not to mention when working in the new construction world these days a lot of times we wait for months to get paid which makes it even more aggravating!!! Those kinds of people are usually self centered and will never be satisfied and if you did a perfect job they won’t say thanks or compliment your hard ass work. They can never stand back with the larger perspective that they're not the only ones being inconvenienced. It's the world we live in today...self absorbed and narrow minded. They should consider themselves fortunate they're not in the lower elevations with massive flooding and having their properties being washed away with the current. Ice doesn’t care about computer nannies or ABS. When night falls and the temperature drops, that stuff will become very icy and nasty and put your vehicle in a ditch. #1 rule with skid steers and loaders when moving snow is have all 4 tires on the ground. Forcing excessive pressure on the loader arms causes excessive wear on pins/bushings. You also lose traction with only 2 wheels touching the ground. It might take multiple passes to move snow but it is much easier on the machines and operators as the machine is not hitting cracks and bumps in the pavement with the arms sending stress throughout the loader arms causing cracks in welds. Otherwise you guys do a great job moving tons of snow!

Unhappy people always resort to hyperbole in order to gouge your eyes out without gouging your eyes out. I suppose the gas stations and grocery stores are gonna hear the same complaint from this woman for running out of food and gas. "Yeah well you shoulda known better!" Whatever, lady -- at least you've got power and heat.

@Mammoth Mountain Life haven't seen your channel before. I was there in mid February and it was great. This is crazy. Hopefully I'll be able to go back up by the end of this month.

Even if they do not collapse...many will leak. The weight is causing so much stress on the joints...and the flashing along chimneys or dormers, is going to break any seal under hundreds of pounds of pressure.

29:40 After 62 years of life on this planet I've learned this, unless you can do a better job you really shouldn't complain. And if you can do a better job you should have done it yourself. My point, complaining rarely produces productive results. "It is what it is" may irritate some, however that is an accurate statement. I've asked myself, why would someone establish a town at an elevation of 7,800 feet, an area that always gets a Ton of snow (literally). It was Gold, in 1877 four Prospectors established the claim and started a Gold Rush. Apparently many have stayed long after the Gold had run out! I'm sure the area is beautiful, still though, locals must be a pretty hearty group to call it home year-round. Be Safe and remember, a little bit of water never hurt anyone. A lot of water, that is an entirely different story.

I feel for you man. You're doing all you can but some people mistakenly think you're in charge of the weather and all it's effects. I used to be in a different line of work and was pretty good at what I did but there were times that I had to tell people, "Hey look. I'm sorry but I'm good but not God."

I hope that you guys can someday have a garage big enough to at least store a few of the vehicles, and even better, if it was able to get them in out of the weather when you needed to do repairs. I hate HATE HATE the fact that even my little snow blower needs to be adjusted or fixed in an unheated garage. I cannot imagine something like repairing a hydraulic line out in the cold.

I subbed just to help support your channel. Here in Wisconsin, we know snow but nothing close to what you're experiencing. I can also easily see how tempers can flare and I'm sure some customers are at the end of their patience rope. I will tell you if you handled my property, my wife would probably have breakfast ready for your crew at least once a week! Appreciation goes a long way. Stay safe and keep up the good fight!

can't please everybody, but I find it difficult to think you'd speak to your biggest client like that. Treat the smallest like you would your biggest. Especially when it looks like a walk behind and 10 minutes would've made them happy. Even more so when my office is located in the complex.

28:35.. How to live where it snows. 1. Deal with it. 2. Learn how to make money with it. 3. Learn how to enjoy it. If you figure that out, there is no such thing as too much snow. Snowmobiling on 30 foot of snow in July at 80 degrees is crazy fun. Ever see a sad guy on a snowmobile?

Unprofessional? I don’t think so. As someone who lives in New Hampshire and totally appreciates what you are dealing with (although not the quantity of snow), I think you all are doing a fantastic job. Hang in there.

I'm sure the hard work that you and your crew are doing is greatly appreciated by your community, and if the Kerens don't like how your doing it, maybe they should get up at 2.00 am and push their own snow. I am enthralled with the content you are providing, and look forward to your uploads. Thank you for your hard work, and thank you for sharing this experience.
