THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on KZbin now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

I think you should use a mod called Kerbal Konstructs, it doesn’t add any parts, but you can use it with the head canon of the colony “building” a landing pad for visiting craft.

Love how the Duna Colony is coming along, a bit sad my suggestion of naming the Spaceport Porty McPortface didn't come through tho. Anyway, how about making some sort of super fancy-looking luxury space-liner and putting Kerbals on there named after your Channel members? It'd be your member ship.

You know, one of the lesser explored aspects of the ksp warfare videos you and others make are the planetary countermeasures taken against warships. You don’t really see a lot of orbital minefields with dozens or hundreds of missiles sitting inactive in orbit. You also don’t see a lot of sorface-to-orbit anti-ship missiles either. There’s a lot of potential there, as with a mobile launcher you could fire waves of missiles at a fleet from anywhere on a planet. When I try to make those ASMs, the biggest challenge is balancing the size of the missile-launcher system with that of the payload, since it’s really just a rocket launching a ship-to-ship torpedo but on wheels. Same goes for the minefields, but on a bigger scale. If you have the time, I’d be interesting to see how you tackle this overlooked aspect of ksp warfare, especially since many consider you to be the pioneer of it.

This colony grows like a tree from a seed. I think it's great! Except I'd be a little bit worried what would happen if the colony's ground wasn't as flat as the KSC's artificial peninsula. I think that's a good way to design AI too. It's kind; you don't give it problems it doesn't need. All the same, this is going to end up looking like the kerbals took treatments which rendered them immortal but unable to reproduce. I'm pretty sure that was the plot of a classic Star Trek episode. ;) If you add a life support mod, you could use its generation ship facilities to breed more kerbals. Loading payloads is cool. :) It reminds me of a cupcake landers video in which a little personal spaceship was loaded onto a (slightly less small) launch vehicle to get it off Kerbin. It almost looked like he'd hired a launch service. And of course there's one of stratzenblitz's with a huge rocket-shape SSTO which gets even more huge cargo loaded. That one just looks ridicu-awesome! lol Congrats on 20k! :D The Likey Kerman segment is funny! XD But... I dunno, might get annoying if it's in every video. Might. Possibly. Maybe.

That's a term transhumanist cyberpunks use for brains, if I remember right. Cybernetic brain interfaces are hardware, the code which runs on them is software, the brain is wetware. Something like that. But I think the word has other uses too.

You are describing the difference between strong(aka general AI) and weak AI which already exists to a large extent. I actually study computer science with artificial intelligence. Also if you could just somehow dock the SSRT or connect it to the spaceport and have a docking port in the cargo bay you could build payloads directly in the rocket

Could you get it so the SSRT clamps to a landing pad attatched to the spaceport and then the payload just gets built by simple construction from another docking port inside the SSRT's payload bay?

Here's my two cents on AI, since it was brought up: The type of AI capable of taking over the world doesn't have to have feelings, or even mimic human consciousness. A common thought experiment for this is the paperclip AI: a theoretical AI designed with the specific objective to manufacture and sell paperclips at maximum profit. The AI is given access to a paperclip-manufacturing machine (whatever that may be), and an internet connection to buy materials and sell paperclips online . The AI will probably start by figuring out a good number of paperclips to manufacture a week to maximize profits. Then, as it's given time to experiment and improve itself, it might begin advertising it's services on forums to increase sales. Then, as it learns more and more about the human psyche, it *might* start to leverage less ethical forms of persuasion. Maybe it'll blackmail a manufacturer into letting it use their machines for production. Maybe it'll threaten violence against anyone who doesn't buy from them. Soon enough, you've got an unstoppable super intelligence converting organic matter into paperclips and breeding mindless paperclip-buying drones. The point is that even when you simplify an AIs duties to a simple task, when left unchecked, it can still become dangerous. The real way to stop such an uprising is to limit an AIs ability to improve itself at some level, preventing it from ever achieving unlimited complexity.

You can spawn a craft using Vesselmover, it allows you to select the Crew. Just think of it as "Reproduction". I don't think there is a mod to make more kerbals

I think you'd get more persistent popularity by making Kerbal politics, excursion antics, and drama a bigger part of the construction process. People love drama, and while your subscriber base likes Duna colony progress, growing it might mean a slight shift in content towards the wider audience. Granted, this approach is only useful if you're actually willing to invest more time into thinking up Kerbal drama to roleplay, instigate, and conclude. Is there a way to make a stationary bomb powerful enough to blow up significant chunks of the colony? Perhaps a saboteur Kerbal could plant one, and an episode could be about his delusional plans, the shock and effect of his plot, and end in a high-speed rover chase across Duna. Or, really, anything. I like KSP content, but I(and most others) also like a bit of dramatic tension in things I watch.

(Oh and your artistic engineering and incredible efforts might have played a teeny-tiny role too!) You've been looking for ways to grow the channel. I think people prefer the individuals' stories; geopolitics and warfare strategy just make good context and back story. Remember Brotoro's exploration of Laythe? I followed that for months!

yes, i stopped when they screwed up the color of the rockets. I played Russian ( because i liked to play hard mode for the challenge) so when they changed the color of the rocket to red, i lost interest.
