The reason Sterling stayed on the pitch is the same as why he got man of the match a couple of games ago. He has great acceleration, a low centre of gravity and can be our most devastating player not necessarily a goal scorer though. If you liked the Boro fans what was all the hand signals? Have I missed something there? Fair enough this vid shows you can't really beat live footy you just don't get the flavour on the telly. It's only half time and in fairness the stats were great but the result was poor but not fatal. It's still there for the taking and look at what Fulham did to Liverpool. They gave them a right shock but hopefully that extra little bit of quality will shine through in the second leg. KTBFFH! I think one of my best memories, over the years, was a game in the 80's at the Bridge when Chelsea played Newcastle. A decent crowd of around 23,000 saw a rampant Chelsea side take Newcastle apart and win 4-0 I think it was. Towards the end of the game the Geordies were still singing their hearts out for their side and the applause rang out from the other three sides of the ground. They love their football in the north east and since that time I have always had great respect for their fans. You were right the atmosphere was brilliant and respect to the Boro fans for that.

One of the worst performances I've seen at the Riverside this season. Why spend all that money if they players are just gonna stroll around the place and not put any effort in. I was genuinely shocked by how bad your lot were. Felt sorry for the fans travelling all that way on a Tuesday night and the players just walked off at the end without thanking them. Sums Chelsea up really. Glad I support a championship team where the players put in 100% and care about the performance.
