SHOW DESCRIPTION: Anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress are all ways of describing natural human responses to adversity. We all face adversity in many different ways; challenging events and circumstances are as much a part of modern existence as they were a part of human history. In this session, I discuss how this pain, which is very real, is a sign that there’s something going on in your life that needs to be addressed: you are in a state of disequilibrium. It’s not a sign of a defective brain. The brain is going through a process of reordering and reorganization in response to an experience because the brain responds to the mind. I will teach you how to identify these warning signs, how to address them, and how to begin healing.

Thank you so much. After a massive trauma (the kind horror movies are made of) The therapy was almost making it worse by going over and over the event ! I was exhausted emotionally. The brain has a wonderful way to heal. Trauma seems to bring on cancer because 5 years after the event I got kidney cancer. Your helping me heal my mind and that will heal my body. Thanks so much.

While I have enjoyed some of your interviews with other people, the greatest learning for me is listening to just you telling us to review, go back and evaluate, to use the the same, foundational, simple ,basic, techniques that you have given us from the beginning...I think you are very aware of the benefit and need for us to not lose tract of those 5 first evaluation steps. I think I can sense that in your pod cast today. . revisiting those foundational tools to evaluate how we are doing. Like.. Have we become sensory overloaded with all the other info that we are taking in....or have we managed to stay on tract putting action to our info... You have given us some great tools to work with....these can be applied to all the awful chaos and confusion happening today..and I look forward to reviewing them with you...thank you Dr. Leaf..

Loved this presentation! So clear & easy to understand. Working Day 7 of Neurocycle and loving it! Finding myself showing myself more compassion and having more presence of mind to show the same to others. Thank you, Dr. Leaf. Have already shared this with several friends. Btw, I’m a huge Wim Hof fan and use it often for “brain prep”. So appreciative of your work!! 💞

Im praying and believeing for healing and deliverance and wholeness physically, mentally, and emotionally from all my past . Im believeing and relying on God in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to do a work inside me transform me and help me truly overcome and brake free, breaking the strong holds.... All regular Doctors wanna do is give pills that dont heal anything and in most cases cause other issues or they wanna put you in counseling which constantly puts you reliving the pain over and again . They make you talk about what was .. God tells us to give it to him and to think on things above and trusting him to bring about the healibg. God tells us to renew our minds with his word and to cast down ALL thoughts ,imaginations etc that dont line up with his word and truth concerning our lives. Im hoping to learn from you Mrs.Leaf . Thank You for sharing we need more like you ...

Thank you so very much for speaking out. I had such a breakdown begin summer of 2019 that I am still healing from. I saw things in my mind that were horrendous. I never knew I could change my brain until I heard of you. God has been working with me and I just can't thank you enough. I have gone through so much emotional trauma for the last 20 years...21 actually. My mind finally said nope...no more stuffing.

The myth of mental illness and the folly of medications with their side effects really is dehumanizing human beings. Thank you for showing a scientifically viable option to what the current system has to offer. I wonder how psych meds affect neuroplasticity and the ability to make wise choices? I hope someone is studying this!

Hello..I am a non native and a new follower. I am so pleased to watching your insightful formative videos . Since you an expert, kindly let me ask you my 2 questions that i did not yet find a method that suits me well. 1 )What is the best strategy to learning and memorizing new vocabulary? 2) Do u think that memorizing a chunk of words such as ( phrases ) would be more efficient than the one vocabulary method. My problem is that I know and I understand a lot of words but when it comes to speaking or writing my mind responds this way : sorry miss no fuel , your mind knows the vocabulary but it was not memorized perfectly. I appreciate anyfeeback from you.

@Donald Mickunas I have seen so called anxiety experts just spout on and on and promise the secret is coming - they want us to buy their book or their course - they are charlatans exploiting desperate people I am sure Dr Leaf is not of this type - but I tired of her long message and started to worry that she was one of those I have mentioned I am glad you found it helpful and insightful - I will listen more I am not familiar with her five steps and don’t have the foggiest what these are
5 steps to overcome procrastination
