I’m so glad you all decided to do an episode on the promos! So good! One thought I had was that when Lucas met Elizabeth, maybe she was returning from being certified to teach Angela Canfield? Im so looking forward to this season and future episodes of the Lounge!

One comment when you were talking about Lucas with Elizabeth & interacting with the school childden. The producers didn't show a lot, but Lucas did work with them when they were setting up the library & he worked with a couple kids to make the lanterns at Christmas. He's such a good guy!!

I've already listen to podcast once in the car driving but I had to watch it just to see your reactions, so worth it !! Season 9 will be Awesome just seeing Lucabeth come into their own as a couple bet they used a lot of Chapstick this season Lol, Such Incredible chemistry between Chris & Erin makes !!! Love it !!

Great show, ladies. I think the fall scene is at the end because of Mei Suo being there and Nathan is clean shaven. I think the show may start in Springtime and Nathan shows up with a mustache (he and Allie traveled to see his father last year over the Winter so maybe they're just getting back). He meets Mei Suo in the Spring, so I'm guessing a very long timeframe to cover from Easter (on Elizabeth's board in the Rosie scene) to Thanksgiving (on the blackboard later on when Lucas is popping the ball up in the air). Flashbacks - I sure hope so. Thoroughly enjoyed the show! Keep up the great work!

So for once I actually went against my own rules and watched Snowkissed. I did so because some socalled fans said CM was a dreadful actor (we all know who they are). Well, the film is sweet and a bit like Mills & Boon and no complaints about the acting from me. Anyway, back to your podcast and I find your predictions for s9 just 👌👌👌 I am looking forward to seeing a happy Elizabeth and how her relationship/romance with Lucas develops. Love you girlies ❤

Maybe its from a much later episode after all the drama in their love journey during season 9 (?) What if its a proposal towards the end of the season? Just thinking, so hard to tell...

Happy New Year, glad to see you back! So glad you did this podcast... didn't realize that I missed a couple. Div, loved your explanation of Chris & Erin totally putting themselves into their characters. I agree that this makes them such fantastic actors! As for Nathan, I would much more like to see a full beard, it's more attractive. I saw a podcast with Roxanne & Amanda (Mei Sou) & it sounded like Mei is being brought in as a love interest for Nathan. Seems she is going to be a good addition to WCTH. I'm sad about Jesse & Clara leaving HV. I'm hoping that when Elizabeth & Lucas get married, that they bring Clara back at least for that occasion. Getting soooo excited for Season 9 to start. Keep up the great podcasts.

At the point where L & E are standing in the street and L leans toward E then looks up- I wondering if they are waiting to here the results of the mayoral election and L says something about Lee winning but Rosemary really being the one in charge. That makes E laugh and then Ned comes out to speak and that's why L turns.

These ladies are giddy with excitement for Lucas and Elizabeth! I think the show will stand by their decision to go that direction, but at some point, will see some bumps in the road for the two of them. That is how drama is written!

One idea for Season 9 that may be far fetched, but wanted to see what you young girls think. When Jack (Dan L) was on When Hope Calls, he came to Abigail in a dream. He asked her to get a message to Elizabeth, telling her that he's proud of both her & little Jack and that he was happy she was moving on in finding a new love. I was thinking it would be nice if they'd have Elizabeth even write in her journal that she heard from Abigail & then show how happy she is that Jack is happy that she's found a new love with Lucas. Does anyone have an opinion?

Great podcast, ladies! :) So, I had a thought... The fact that Lucas is only carrying one suitcase is kind of irrelevant to whether he went with Elizabeth or not... Because he probably would've left it in his car or at the saloon before walking them home. (I'm not saying he went with her, just that, in my opinion, he wouldn't have carried 2 suitcases for no reason). Also, I'm super shocked that y'all don't ship Nathan and Mei Sou! I realize we don't know for sure if she's a love interest... But I really want her to be. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I actually want Fiona and Mike.

We would all be fine with Mei Sou, we think! We just don’t know her yet, so it’s hard to say, and we’ve all wanted Nathan with Fiona for awhile. We’re all open to it though! And as of now, we do plan on doing podcasts when season 9 airs. We aren’t sure in what capacity. Thanks for watching! :)

I saw in an article that this season will start right where season 8 leaves off. Does that mean right after? Or could it be the spring after? Also it says that Elizabeth will have doubts about their future together bec of Lucas past. So it won’t be such smooth sailing this season no matter what the promos show.

Here I am with another comment. I'm watching this podcast for the 3 or 4th time...each time seeing something I missed before. This time I was thinking about the Aladdin references. Do you think the writer's we're having fun putting these in the show because of previous references from some fans about Alice & Wonderland? At least the Aladdin references are sweet!

We think we see the balloon scene in episodes 1 or 2 because they filmed it in the first block. She also doesn’t have a ring on. But hey, anything is possible!

One more thing I thought of when I rewatched season 8. What gives Elizabeth pause about Lucas from the past may be about Henry and his son. It seems like a story line that they planted and then left without Elizabeth knowing what he did in bringing Henrys son to spy on him. Maybe bec it’s a father-son relationship it makes her doubt Lucas understanding of the importance of that relationship. Maybe when she finds out it upsets her that he didn’t tell her
