I have watched WCTH since S1. I quit watching after Jack died. I wasn’t sure if a new guy would live up to Jack. I knew they were introducing a Mountie and a saloon owner as prospective romantic interests for E and I was sure even before the season aired that E will not end up with the Mountie. Recently, I watched season 6 on Netflix and couldn’t wait to watch S7,8 (ended up getting a subscription to watch that). As I mentioned earlier I was team Lucas even before watching based on logic but after watching the episodes I can clearly see that the writers had decided to pair L&E way before the finale and honestly I didn’t notice any spark between N&E. All that was there between them was E seeing J in N. I am also following you guys on twitter and wanted to commend you on the podcast. Cannot wait for season 9. Keep it going ladies!

Thanks ladies, that was an enjoyable discussion.I would have to say I love Div's prediction about Lucas and Elizabeths saying ILY in that shot of Lucas in his suspenders and Elizabeth looking coy and bashful. It would be awesome for them to actually say those words this season, and of cause an engagement would be just the cherry on top!! It would drive the haters to hysteria but who cares! Great job ladies!👍

Great podcast as usual. While Nathan’s mustache is a no, I’m living for Ned’s beard. I can’t wait to see him become the adhesive bandage mogul. I also can’t wait to see Elizabeth, Lucas and Little Jack’s journey to becoming a family. Glad to see Henry will be back.

So much good stuff here! You ladies are so observant. :) Like you, I am REALLY hoping for an engagement this season & I definitely think that it is going to happen. And I love what Div said about how loving Lucas is, because that is exactly how I feel. He just shows so much love & consideration to everyone around him. I know I asked this before, but I can't remember the answer so, are y'all planning on recapping/reviewing all the S9 episodes as they come out? And if so, will you be discussing all of the characters and storylines or just the Lucabeth stuff? Again, I really enjoyed listening! Y'all are very entertaining. :)

Hello ladies. For some reason I was kicked out of the original podcast. It stated " this is a private podcast's", but I thought because I subscribe that I would be able to join in. Hopefully I can get it figured out by your next one. Truly enjoy hearing your points of view. So excited....36 days for Season 9 to start!! 😁😁

I love conversation about WCTH! I have mixed emotions about the resolution of "Triangle" storyline, but I'm looking forward to season 9 and meeting all the new faces. It will be nice to see Elizabeth happy again! It will also be interesting to see how the "Hearties" react to the new season after the shocking fallout from the season 8 finale, because storylines and even the future of the show will always depend on the ratings and continued loyalty of the fans.

As someone who is relatively new to WCTH, I think this wonderful show will gain far more viewers because of the Lucas and Elizabeth love story than it will ever lose over a few disgruntled former fans. The haters causing the controversy only provided curiosity among people who didn’t know the show and had no emotional investment in it. I can’t imagine coming to check out the show and not being hooked by the absolute quality of writing, acting and production. It provides an inspiring sense of wholesomeness and community that is so lacking in entertainment media today. The majority of the people in Hope Valley are good decent folks who want to do right. They care about, and want the best for each other and their town. I think people are hungry for that.

@@cee7788 love your sentiments! My love for show has never diminished, my only complaint about the "Triangle" storyline was how long it was stretched out. I hate all the negativity from both "Teams" and look forward to new stories and new faces in season 9. Still, it is a business for Hallmark, and ratings are important to assure that the show continues, and I'm sure the writers and producers are sensitive to this.

@@brianshively8168 Thanks.😊. The writers do a wonderful job. Regardless of what life brings to the people in Hope Valley, good ultimately prevails because of the strength of character in individuals who genuinely care and reach out to help and encourage each other to persevere through their weaknesses, or through difficult times. WCTH is an example that positivity can spread, change and strengthen the lives of people despite the negatives - real or imagined.
