Hugo Soup The remake is probably better to the ppl who haven’t seen the original I’d imagine. It actually isn’t that bad of a movie. If they would’ve just called it something else I think it would’ve gotten a better response from our generation who grew up with the original. We just aren’t that fond of remakes. Some of us even find it downright offensive to remake a classic. What we need to understand is that these remakes aren’t for our generation. It’s time to pass it along, & sometimes the best way to get new ppl interested in originals is to watch a modern remake. I agree remakes are way overdone though! They could’ve given it a different title, & they changed the story up enough to do something else, but they didn’t. A lot of movies have similar plots. Vertical Limit, & Into Thin Air; Death on Everest, & Seven Years In Tibet. Home Alone & Deadly Games. Gremlins & Critters. Twister, & Tornado Valley. This reminds me of some sort of adrenaline junkie, Robin Hood, radical Buddhist type story. I would’ve liked to have seen where’d they’d go with that plot if doing something different. They don’t have to spend as much on advertising is all it comes down to with remakes. The remakes never change how good the OG is though, & it does get new ppl interested. There’s always a bright side if you look hard enough. ✌️ “Vio Con Dios”

+Laura Maria Maybe he has an opinion. I personally did not like the movie, the visuals and sport scenes where amazing, but the characters had no chemistry and it seemed like they where forced to like each other. I do allot of extreme sports; No support rock climbing, base jumping, surfing, motor-cross, snow boarding and it was good to see them work them into the plot, but what this movies failed to do what the original captured so well is that it makes you love and root of the bad guys. This movie tried to hard to make them heroes against the 1% because that is what the modern generation love so much. but everyone has an opinion, and I respect all as should you. We are all human and we must understand that we are not all alike. Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever.~ Gandhi
