This was an amazing run, and the storytelling was just perfect. You keep outdoing youserlf with every video you make! I wish every one of them could have made it to the White Forest, but I know the ones who couldn't make it were happy to see their friends there at the end. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be part of this, it was incredibly fun to make those illustrations. And seeing them at the end makes me very emotional, again, thanks so much Flygon!

I feel like part of why Flygon's writing in these hits so well besides the obvious incredible amount of work is that it really captures the emotional feel of when you yourself are playing a nuzlocke and get so attached and invested in your pokemon. Feels like the true spirit of what a nuzlocke is meant to be! Also he really went off with the sound editing in this one 👏👏

This is undoubtedly Flygon's Magnum Opus. Years of him honing his craft in storytelling, team building, video editing, and comedy writing have all culminated to this video. It tells a beautiful story, is one of the closest runs from a gameplay perspective in Nuzlocke history (literally down to one turn deciding the fate of the entire battle), somehow has incredible world building which I didn't even know was possible for a Monotype challenge, and overall has phenomenal pacing and editing choices in the music and visuals. Bravo Matti, this is why you're the best Nuzlocke content creator on this site

I'm actually so emotional after this video. It was such a beautiful story. There were a few moments of genuine heartbreak for me, when I found out that certain team members had to take the fall for their other teammates to survive. Out of everyone on the team, I wanted Roserade and Lilligant to make it to the end, as they are my favorite Grass-type Pokémon of them all. But, seeing that ending screen with the surviving members seemed to compensate. Great work, Flygon. You made an emotional roller coaster of a video insurmountable in terms of quality. If you ever top this, I may need to spend a whole day in my room, contemplating life. 🧡

Roxie’s Koffing fight actually makes sense if you know Gen 5 AI. It views moves with guaranteed effects as status moves. So it sees clear smog as haze, and it sees bulldoze as scary face. Very strange, and I use this strategy to trivialize Clay every time since all of his Pokémon prioritize getting to a point of outspeeding you with Bulldoze unless they see a kill.

Maaan I dont wanna cry over a pokemon nuzlock video but that was amazinggg. The story telling got my hoooked. It was so good. Also I'm surprised no one mentioned that your use of soundtracks for your narration is on point as well. Great video as always FlygonHG. You never miss.

This is the nest Nuzlocke I’ve ever watched and the story made it 400 times better. I was so rooting for the grass friends to make it to the forest and their backstories had me 😢

Oh my gosh. FlygonHG, you've outdone yourself with this one. This production is phenomenal! It's up there with Spheal Team Six in terms of quality. I love the storytelling that you include in your nuzlocke videos. I especially love the gorgeous artwork!! Those two shots at the ending were beautiful, huge compliments to the artist!!

I love the nuzlockes you do where you add in an extra goal and narrative. This video and Spheal Team Six are two of my favorites from you. Your storytelling has gotten so good in the past couple of months, it makes me so excited to see what you'll come up with next!

At the end, even if Joey didn't kill, he would have put archeops in range of defeatist and his last teamate could have achieve it. Great run !

Archeops was still faster than Marcel though, and Acrobatics still would have done a lot of damage - I don't remember Marcel's nature, but if it was a -Defense nature there was a good chance he would have been OHKOed from full. 0 Atk Defeatist Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Simisage: 234-276 (80.4 - 94.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 0 Atk Defeatist Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Simisage: 258-306 (88.6 - 105.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

The artwork at the end is so cute! These Nuzlocke stories are better than some of the actual Pokemon movies, so much thought, effort, and care put into giving these pixelated pocket monsters personality.
