I like astral radiance as a booster box. Not as an etb. They will do ok but not really great. So middle of the road. Just my thoughts.

@ I agree with that 100% for the standard ETB’s, the only reason why I just picked two up is for selling to sealed collectors in the future, I think Astral is one of the worst of the PC ETB’s, but I think that the PC ones are still far less printed than the BB or ETB’s

Best advice I can give is: There are times to be a collector, there are times to be an investor, and there are times to just sit on your money. Right now, I'm sitting between being a collector and sitting on my money. I've found some really good deals on older sets to keep me ripping packs and enjoying collecting. But if the deals aren't there, I'll wait until they are. Do Not Fomo, people. Great video, bud 👍🏻

Hey Michael, love the vids! I also use the Shiny app but I cannot locate Sinnoh Stars Mini Tins cases. Anyway, I'm massive Paradox Rift fan, and prefer it over the many other sets in S&V, but hey, that's just me.

I’m going to say - Shrouded fable is the hidden champion. Right now the set is dirt cheap, there is a decent value in the cards already. And it is so unpopular right now, that the supply won’t increase soon.

As always I agree with you Oz but it feels like the trend with SV era is we got really great sets across the board with IRs but the lack of effort on SIRs brings it all down. I really love Paradox Rift and like you said with Paldea Evolved - it coulda been a banger with one bangin SIR!

I think we all need to be really careful with surging. I truly believe it’s prices are being propped up at the moment by the lack of supply and wouldn’t be surprised to see these prices come way down if they pull a vivid voltage level of supply dump.

I dont see them over printing anything for a while. They don't want to sit on products anymore they want to sell sell sell. If anything I see the reprints being tiny like Obsidian and paldea evolved

12:00 I agree with the 9.5 rating, simply because they didnt include masterball holos. The set would have been BROKEN if they did. Sitting on a few booster boxes of japanese 151, hoping to see that $200- 250 pricetag again!

i think paradox is a way better set than stellar crown. altaria groudon, roaring moon, goldengo and steelix. The cards are a way cooler. The only two cards that could compete are the bulbasaur and the squirtle. And In my opinion paradox rift it is not going to have another print maybe a little restock in the future. And stellar is going to have a repint 100%.

I started collecting Pokémon cards not long ago with Stellar Crown, and I think you are right. As much as I like it, there aren't maybe big cards in that set. You don't think Bulbasaur, Squirtle and possibly Lapras will be enough to make it worthwhile to invest in down the road?

Started My Pokemon journey 4 weeks ago with you Michael :) I bought case(-2) of of SS, had to crack some as a newbie..., and 4 twilight and 2 cases of prismatic As well as some MTG Collectors.Foundations .most pre-ordered and below retail Q. I pulled the Pika 238/191 and the melotic as well as a lot of others...I dont want to be a single collector...should I a) sell them and reinvest in Bitcoin b) keep them and watch them climb or c) burn them and decry the evil of Pokemon? So many questions incoming...and thanks for the format with pics as it teaches me the older sets :)

@ it’s up to you. Some people buy a ton of the same card that has a high margin between raw value and PSA 10 value and then sell them

151 - right now it's difficult to see how this one goes wrong. Surging Sparks - I think right now that this set is the really interesting one. Can it hold on to the current values on the singles? I'm still not 100% convinced. But absolutely it has some bangers in there. And SIR Alakazam I agree! The best of the best 😊

Why would you open that? As popular as it is there really isn't many actual valuable cards in the set, like even the charizard is only worth $180, that's about $30 LESS than a sealed ETB! So there really is no point in opening it at all, it's like burning money!
