I loved Doyle... but his age showed in these events. Only played premium hands anymore. Never took chances or bluffed much. The contrast of styles at this table was nuts. Makes for interesting tv.

I'm just at the half of the videos and it's so crazy how Dwan is just so advanced in his game compared to the others. He is actually better but also all these opponnents are just trying to outplay him playing crappy hands, never folding, making terrible calls on the river, never believing the guy can actually have a hand, this is insane.

The hand at 2:25:00. I have no idea why he wouldn't like the A on that river. With 10 9 2 4 with 2 clubs and 2 spades, all the draws miss when a red ace hits. It's the perfect card. The ace is certainly better than a club or a spade, also a K,Q,J or 8 bring in straights. A 4 or a 2 would give an over-pair a better hand. If Dwan had a nut flush draw, he made top pair and you can now get some value. That's literally the best river unless Dwan has AA or A10 of spades exactly.

At the end of the day they all end up broke, no matter how skillful they are. Most of them are degenerate gamblers that will squander all the money at some point (there are a few exceptions ofc)
