polar verity is the best optical hr monitor available (previously had a scosche rhythm 24). light, unobtrusive, dual bluetooth & ant+, easy compatibility with polar flow. can simultaneously connect to garmin fenix, skillrow, & unity kiosk. works well for cycling, running, rowing, weightlifting, metcons. haven’t tried boxing with it yet (impact from the bag up the arm often leads to false hrm readings with optical devices).

Great video thanks. This is a big improvement for swimming, I use the OH1 but it can't do more than collect HR right ? But the new one bring swim distance in addition. Am I right ? The mode selection also is away easier than the OH1 👍

The mode selection is way easier than the OH1. And yes it should track your swim speed and distance in the pool alone with heart rate.

I don't have a Polar watch, just Polar Verity Sense and a Samsung cellphone, and I can't make the Polar Beat voice guidance tell me when I'm entering a heart zone. Do you know how I can make this work?

It depends on what can you compare it to as far as equivalent. Is it compatible with wahoo and peloton. Is so maybe

It’s Bluetooth and Ant+ compatible so pairing it to other devices like the peloton is super easy.

That’s awesome. Do you think you could do a video on ecosystems? I have a lot of wahoo products but don’t know what is compatible? I know garmin, wahoo, polar are all trying to keep people in their ecosystem but some products are better in other ecosystems. All these products are expensive so buying the right product that fits in to ones ecosystem is important. Always great content, keep it up.
