Just like a subliminal message, that's what the rockers have made out it's all in fun and having a good time,but many of those rockers believe it or not have sold their souls for fame and fortune. These old Ranger 500’s are great machines, evidenced by the fact that so many are still around. But once you fix that parking brake, it’s still crap! It holds the Ranger ok, but it’s placement is very close to the accelerator. So, especially if you are wearing boots, you’ll hit the gas when you apply the parking brake, and if it’s still in gear you’ll run over stuff. So always put it in neutral or cut off the engine before applying the parking brake.

It has high/low speeds. I haven’t topped it out, but would guess that it would hit 30-35 no problem.

why go from a warn winch to a badlands winch. Even if it needed a rebuild unless you got it for free it doesn't seem to make sense

If you can get doors for it, they are totally worth it. Much more comfortable and safe.
