Polaris Sportsman rear axle & bushing replacement

Great info video , been truck mechanic over 40 years but now working on my 21 year old sportsman and i need to replace rear axles and A arm bushing and you really did great job showing how to so thanks so much for video

I bought a cv joint puller as I needed some help, but I was always alone, so it worked great on the cv joints.

where did you get the bushings?

Great video...thx for the help...but you only missed put some grease on the bearing

They are sealed bearings so you can’t grease them but I did put some copper anti-seize on the axle stub shaft where it goes through the bearing to help keep corrosion down and disassembly later.

I did all the rear bearings and new hubs, because of the old ones were junk,

Did you switch over the springs yourself, or take to a shop that has a spring compressor?

Well, they couldn't make all those dollars selling new bushing to everyone if they put in zerk fittings.. ????

Some of the earlier years they put Zirk fittings on everything now they hardly ever do.
