Thanks for this vid. Happened to work on a same idea yesterday to build some kind of random patch generator in de grind for external HW instrument (Prophet 6). Works like a charm but i don’t be able to find a trigger/button or switch that ignores incoming triggers from transport/note. What do i miss here? Any ideas perhaps? Next goal is to send random RNPN messages with a push of a button but can’t figure out how the grid translates the value in a fixed value module (for first 2 digits of MSB and LSB) to midi cc out module. Somewhere there is a conversion to 0-128 but which value represents 128? Can’t connect a readout module behind a midi cc out module. Any ideas here?

tbh, I prefer using HW instrument on post-FX chain to send CC's to virtual midi port, which is then used with controller script than maps to remote controls. although you're limited to modifying 8 parameters at once, you can switch pages, and pages can be organised beforehand, so you don't need to bother with putting CC modulators and mapping them everytime. there is of course one other difference in that you would have this auto-map to whatever you select by default, so need to pin it via controller settings to focus on specific device.

@Polarity Music In the video you have 8 CCs out of 9 working, how do you make all 9 or more CCs work? This can be noticed when you randomize CC only 8 out of 9 go through the changes on the screen on device. I repeated the setup from this video and I too only have 8 of the 9 working.

can you point me to a time frame? you can use 16 voices, so 16 ccs and they should all work

Strange, I changed the voice spread from 16 to 9 and all 9 worked. I thought 16 was supposed to work, but it didn't.

I'm having the same issue, only I realised it's only CC9 that doesn't work. CC10 and more work fine. Likely a bug.

Oh you guys probably modulated the step mod phase by the wrong amount. At least it sounds like it. If it’s the wrong amount, you skip bars.

Nice idea.... But - is the VOCXIE STACK is a an EXTRA-gimmick/gift ... OR is is it NECASSRY to "JUST Variation" my "MONO-monophonic...."_LEADS/BASSes...???
