Note: Just remember that Brazil has the largest japanese community outside of Japan and a brazilian can speak japanese almost without an accent, because japanese and portuguese have phonetic similarities.

That's just wrong. Portuguese and Japanese are not phonetically similar at all. All the diphthongs and nasal sounds, which are essential to Portuguese, don't exist in Japanese. Japanese people are always delighted to see a foreigner speak even just a word of Japanese ^^ I was surprised by the French girl speaking such good English, I mean she sounds American! Normally parisians hate on all other accents when speaking french but then their English is completely french accent lol, the hypocrisy.
