I don't know man, I'm looking at that list and it strikes me as rather noteworthy that, a) bugs are less edible than dirt, and b) grass is less edible than DARKNESS. The Dark type is called 悪 Aku in Japanese, which translates to "Evil". They are not really darkness or shadows, although both words are often assocciated with being evil.

Fun fact, because we wash our vegetables we are now somewhat deficient on vitamin b12 (although it's a larger problem if you don't eat meat, which contains some), so while bugs are certainly more edible than dirt, you can't strictly count it out. Also grass might be worse for you than literally nothing, depending on circumstances.

This is 100% true. I’ve never played or bothered to learn anything about Zelda, Skyrim, Castlevania, Mega Man, Mortal Kombat, Fallout, Kingdom Hearts, Dark Souls, any Kojima game, Fire Emblem, Halo or Crash Bandicoot and I’ll be perfectly honest, I probably never will. But this is still one of the most entertaining and unendingly hilarious series’ I’ve ever watched. And it is all because of Brian and his beautifully chaotic personality.

I can't remember where i first saw this sentiment but i think about it a lot: when fans say that they don't care what you put out and they'd watch whatever as long as it's you and would watch unedited/cut footage, they mean it as a compliment but it can read to the artist like they do not care about the artistry you put into the work, and they are only interested in consuming something about you that you have little to no control over (like personality, voice, looks, etc). When you put the most consumable part of yourself on display and people are still hungry for the scraps you left on the cutting board... how can you ever feel like you did enough?

I think the calorie vs kilo-calorie thing is partly to confuse on how many calories a food will actually give you. A lot of "zero calorie" foods/drinks will have SOME caloric value, but what they mean is that it has less than 1000 cal/less than 1kcal. What makes people feel better - being told that their health drink has 0kcal but like 300 calories, or being told that it has ZERO calories based on this new definition of what a calorie is? Same goes for most foods - 370 calories sounds way better than 370 kilocalories (which translates as 370000 calories). 370kcals is a decent meal btw, it's just that people are going to be confused and misled when it's written as if the value is a thousand times weaker than it is.

But a pyroar would be edible not good idea to eat for example amd certainly not palatable since it's 1000 degrees hotter then the sun. obviously. In general most carnivores don't particularly taste that good. I know bear meat is a thing but it's hard to prepare and make delicious so again not the best idea to eat it.

I just rewatched this for the first time since the day it came out. I've rewatched the entire unraveled series minus this video many times; rewatching the end somehow just made it feel more permanent. But when I finally did, I noticed that I actually can answer the question why we wanted the uncut castlevania video, and when Pokémon edibility was requested despite being covered so often. It's you, BDG. We like seeing you specifically talk about things. No matter if it's hours or stuff you call boring, or a topic that's been done to death, you bring it to life in a way only you can.
