Huge props to raising your console up to allow water to flow. For people that park under trees, like myself, I wish water flowed easily to remove debris when cleaning. And your floors are genius!

Thanks. I’m trying to think of ways that save maintenance and longevity. Also makes cleanup easier and keeps nasty growth down. I’m working on my livewell and bait tank also to raise off the floors.

Yea I actually sold this pontoon about a month ago. Got a StarCraft boat now. But I’ll be doing some videos on what I’m doing to it also

I actually need to get new ones for my new boat. Pontoon I sold few weeks ago. But Chris that owns katfish is a friend and he had them made for me. I can’t remember the size of those at the moment was a while back.

Thanks for sharing. I am in the process of restoring a pontoon bought I purchased and Ive found out quickly how expensive that can get. Batterry storage has been an issue. What thrust trolling motor do you have?

SIR! When you rebuild your console would you ever consider moving it to a center position since you fish over the rails? Wanting to do that to mine when the time comes.

I have sold my pontoon. But to answer your question? Yes I would move to center console, only reason I did not was because I was trying to keep it as a family boat as well as a catfish rig. But if you are dedicating it to fishing I would go center console and move it forward on the boat to give yourself room in the rear. think about your layout as long as it takes before you do anything. Draw it and think about the best balance you can get for what you want to do. I suggest if you go center console make it a bit wider to give yourself more option on switches and fishfinder setup. Also blocking wind on cool days or nights during travel.
