Cool video. I use the Redfish Magic for largemouth bass in north Texas.

I just got a Redfish Magic and a Trout Magic today to try around the Chesapeake Bay. I've caught a few fish on weedless EWG hooks with underspins, hopefully these will be better.

You should throw an owner flashy swimmer with a swim bait rigged on it one day. My favorite redfish rig, I put either a big bite bait suicide shad on it or a keitech fat swing impact and the reds and bass love it

Man I’d love to see a trout magic mixed in there. I know they’re not marketed for reds, but we catch plenty on them.

The separate H&H spinners are a great value and you can use any jig you want

Great video. I think the Strike King Redfish Magic rolls because the soft plastic it comes with is that Z man elaztech plastic. I picked up several and have high hopes for them. I'm interested in seeing if they will hit it with a grub tail instead of a paddle tail or maybe even a gulp. I also picked up several of the discontinued Terminator brand redfish spinners with the titanium wire, bass fisherman always talk about how great those spinners were and how they lasted forever and put off some good vibration.

Yeah your thin wire combo takes the win for me too! Man you make it easy for the rest of us!

It’s been proven that 9 out of 10 redfish, in hindsight, reluctantly approved this method. In fact, the redfish community is somewhat peeved that this information has been released to the general public.

How about testing the Z man diezel spin, josh hall’s HD spinnerbait, and the bayou buck spinners?

We get these types of questions with every pool test. There are always going to be some we leave out, just because they're not easily accessible to us. That's particularly true right now with supply-chain issues. Hopefully this test gives viewers a good view of the brands we WERE able to review

@@MarshManMasson oh absolutely, and I think it was a great video. Just making suggestions for ones to include next time!

I agree with you man the diezel spin rocks would of loved to see it next to all these head up…great video though really informative

Your choice for the redfish spinner was right on. But I like the redfish magic soft plastic feel. It's just seems to feel natural. You right these are great redfish baits. These summer days in the marsh we will certainly be throwing them a lot. Love the pool testing of your baits.

Try a redfish magic with a 4in gulp jerk shad!!!
@bobgill40693 жыл бұрын
I'm going to try this. I guess the lack of action with the jerk shad doesn't matter. Have you tried it with a curltail grub soft plastic or a gulp grub curltail?
@wesleycogdell99553 жыл бұрын
@@bobgill4069 I have used a paddle tail and that seemed to do well. I have also used gulp shrimp and zman fried chicken shrimp and they caught fish too.

Redfish Revolution Spinnerbaits are the best. Bigger, stronger and larger Colorado blades. Let me know if you would like some and I will ship you a few to try out.

Good video I have the strike king and a older bomber in black I saw bill dance use fishing with Theophile Bourgeois in Laffite. I have never used either. Soft plastic always seems to fit the bill. And I am always almost using my confidence Down South and usually chartreuse flash.

The last two are my favorite. I bought the smaller version of the h&h on accident and its just a little to small lol. Lost one on it from unhooking the jig head part. I cant put the spinner down right now though they have been whacking the reds

Todd do you like to fish these baits with steady retrieve or stop and go? john

Mostly steady, but I will switch things up if I'm not getting bites.

Awesome video as usual. I started using Hildebrandt spinner blades for my marsh spinnerbaits. The thing I like about their spinners is the super low profile, compact design. Check em out. To me they tend to shed grass better with the compact design and if the fish is actually striking at the blade and not the bait; he has a better chance of getting hooked. Not mention, the finish on the blades is better quality than most spinners.

Watched a video of it a guy here in Houston that said he kept losing fish because the gold spoon is directly above the hook. He invented one where the spoon was 2in in front of the lure. I believe you can find it under "fishing Dickenson bayou texas"
@ETuss7133 жыл бұрын
The blade being close to the bait is what I have seen makes a spinner a winner. Thats true for freshwater spinners and these spinners.
@jasoncosentino32693 жыл бұрын
I wish you would have included the Delta Lures Redfish spinner. I use that one and the H&H redfish teamed up with the deathgrip like you tested. I have great success with both. I didn't notice much difference in the action between the two H&H spinners, so I would lean towards the stronger/thicker one.

Good content, appreciate the time and effort it takes to put this together, not to mention the $$$$! I have picked up a ton of information since I’ve started watching locals do what we do. You’ve really helped me with different ways of looking at different estuaries and the possibilities of productivity. Keep it up! Thanks.
