Pooping Out on a Puppy Payment

The plaintiff and defendant live in the same building. He sold the defendant two puppies, but he says she hasn’t paid him, so he’s suing. He also claims the defendant’s son strangled him. The defendant argues she only got one puppy. She doesn’t think she owes him because he pushed her and caused damage to her apartment. She’s countersuing for property damage and vet bills.

This whole buying three puppies on a whim is so crazy to me. I’ve really, REALLY wanted a puppy for over a year now, but I still don’t have one. Why? Because in the weekdays I don’t come home for 12 hours. It would be unfair of me to do that to a dog. The question of getting it shouldn’t be “is it cute” or “can I afford to buy it.” It should be am I in a position (financially and other) to give this puppy the life it deserves!

It doesn't take imagination to see: He's a really tough guy who doesn't take any excuses from anybody... except he slipped here a bit. (I wouldn't trust he'd give me $5 back from a small loan-- no way would I make a $100-- $400 deal with him.... actually, they all seem "shady," Both sides say one thing, and then there's a 50/50 chance they'll tell the truth, (first they give a version that sounds pretty good--then they can be coaxed into a more accurate story...when it seems there's no other way), The defendants still talk about this case "at the dinner table," and think they told nothing but the truth in court. When they're corrected, they still "plow forward." They aren't embarrassed...I am embarrassed for them. 🙄

Pets are extremely expensive and you can expect them to live 10 to 15 years, sometimes longer. If you aren't committed to that, don't bother getting them. I get they're adorable when they're little, but they grow up! Don't get a pet on a whim, it's not fair to them.

He needs special food, he is like a Billy goat he gets on everything and into everything which I can't wrap my head around cause he's short and fat but extremely determined! So I've come home to him on my counters and as you probably know they are so fat with those little stubby arms so I'm scared he's gonna jump down and break one. I chose to have dogs instead of children... I now realize there is no difference! My house is full of baby gates, my cabinets are locked, I own no chairs in my kitchen 😂 and he only listens to my husband! He will turn around when I tell him to come inside but he hears my husband and all of a sudden he is the most well trained dog that listens to all commands 😂

I don’t get “buying” a pet when the shelters are over full with pets that need homes or they are put down. Last year my husband wanted a pocket bully(chihuahua & pit bull mix) so he bought it but he paid first before he could get the dog. That was the first time I’ve ever ‘paid’ for a pet, I’ve always rescued my pets before.

If you sell dogs on a payment plan, get a down payment before you let them go to the new home. You could get the purchaser to sign a paper that show the sale price minus the down payment and the balance owed. Include the payment plan - $50.00 to be paid monthly. The it’s on the buyer to ask for a receipt if paying by cash.

I was smiling to hear the Defendant say the dogs are doing well- and she loves them... but then I started thinking, maybe she screwed her kids up, so she's compensating by taking really good care of the dogs? And the Plaintiff- Jesus- DOGS ARE NOT A WAY TO MAKE A LIVING (unless of course you are a recognized breeder). Living in a basement and breeding dogs is shady AF.
