Next thing you know everyone's going to be doing Poppt wins. They should all do one big collab. It'd be absolutely ridiculously amazing.

Hey poppt, just a bit of constructive criticism. I believe that this video will be very relevant, even in years to come. I feel like the information in this video is extremely valuable but one thing I would change is the organization/ structure of the video. Title slides are very good at giving structure to a pile of info. So title one: pick one or two characters. Title two: get comfortable with movement. And so on. I believe that this way of formatting would make all the information in this video easier to gulp down. This comment will probably drown but I hope you see it. 👍

Loved the video! Well I love all of your videos but I think this one was perfect for me. I feel this tips are not necessarily for beginners but more for advanced players. I don't consider myself to be good and I have a lot to improve but I'm not bad. One great tip I would recommend for everyone and specially for beginners is: play against people better than you. And don't get mad if you lose. They are gonna beat you and do things you wouldn't even know we're possible, but that's going to make you have to adapt and improve extremely fast. You'll learn movement, punishes, off stage, and different mechanics without even realising and printing them onto your muscle memory! Anyways great video!

What I do is sometimes mix stuff up. I usually don’t rewatch my replays but I see 👀 what my opponent does a lot, then O try to punish them for it. But I swap the punish so they don’t always jump OR dodge. Sometimes I wait for them to react. People don’t use walk or stop enough, do it in order to throe the opponent off. Theyll be like “? Why did he slow down????” Then YOU SURPRISE THEM! Get into their head by tainting mid combo even. I dont do this but if your sure you can trick them. Do it. Captain Falcon side taint looks like Falcon Punch, use it as a bait. Don’t do the same thing the whole game. Change it up a bit. If your being campy. Randomly be Aggresive. If you always go for spikes off stage all the time, go for aerials offstage now. They might make a mistake that you should take advantage of. (Sometimes, not always, do get countered or gimped because of it) and one important rule for me. You can in fact throw some dumb plays. It confuses them. Little Mac and Chroms are braindead. They can flick the C stick all day long

So I've been playing Pit since Brawl and I didn't get interested in the competitive scene until the end of Sm4sh. I haven't really watched my replays then and fell against a wall and wasn't getting better. When I got Ultimate and found a co-main, Incineroar, I got more into it and went on to follow/subscribe to pro players/finding specific content to work on/trying to get better. I believe that I got better over the months but have rebuilt that wall I had a few years ago. There aren't that many pro Pit/Incineroar players out there other than Kiraflax, RaZe, and Lucky for Pit/Magister for Incineroar (last I heard, he doesn't compete anymore). I can't really rely on the internet to find stuff, since I haven't found what I'm looking for. Even though I still have never have gone to a local, I still want to get better. I wanted to go to one this summer, but since the virus is out and about, I can't really do that until we know that it's all settled down and out of quarantine. I've broken some habits and made new ones that I want to break. I've went through a lot of Discord servers and I couldn't get what I wanted from them and didn't really learn anything. I've trained a bit and found out different things, but I don't really have that person to just spar off with, no one to help me improve. I've been getting mixed advice for Pit, since no one plays the character and all the mu's I see have it so their character wins. I don't really know what to do at this point. I've just been playing here and there with qp/CPUs, but that doesn't seem anywhere near fun and meaningful. And when I get along the lines of "it comes with experience," it always irks me. I don't know what to do know. :/ tl;dr, I've been playing this game for a bit and have gotten stuck for some time now. I'm wishy-washy trying to find a good place to practice and get help.

One thing about watching when top players use certain moves, it's not able killing with warios bair, its why tweek thinks samsora is gonna jump, u could look back to see how he conditioned samsora or maybe all peaches do such things. Like mkleo's like wasn't just spam air, but spamming nair with a purpose and thought in mind, whether it be a bait, conditioning or just if the opp is stupid enough to get hit by it. Look at what he has achieved with that, maybe next time he comes down with a tomahawk.

My best advice would be mind games, bait and punish reflector ... for a while My secondary was Samus... but matchups like fox, wolf, ness, Lucas, a few others were way too frustrating. Personally I’d pick up a sword character if I were you (not hero he’s too slow) or if you’re really set on them, then like I said use mind games to your advantage, and don’t rely on the projectiles focus more on ariels

Choose the one you’ll have the most fun practicing. If you end up needing to switch later, it is what it is, but for getting started focus on a character you’ll want to keep playing. Ultimate is hella balanced, and at anything lower than top level, it’s worth it to play who you’ll stick with.

I actually play more than 2 characters, I learned the game before then obviously, but, I actually play 4. They all kind of have the same playstyle. So I’m fine with it, they each are good with matchups other don’t do well with, if your wondering, I play Puff, IC’s, Joker, and Ridley, I’m a low tier (besides Joker) hero.
