So basically the drama is poppy ex who helped her make her KZbin videos and he turned out to be a manipulative abusive person towards her. I disagree album was a complete departure from her previous albums by incorporating heavy Metal. This is basically her “f*ck you” record towards her ex.

Because the REAL drama is that Poppy went out of her way, before she was Poppy . . . to fuck her boyfriend's friend who owed him money, while he was staying with them because he'd cheated on and abused his girlfriend ( Mars Ago ) and proceeded to not only steal another woman's persona, plagiarize her works, copy her videos, mimic her, wear her clothes, stalk her to the point they both enrolled at the same location as Mars where the woman was taking language courses and intimidated the woman til she dropped out. and happily stole from and bullied the woman, denying her pain and trolling for several years creating a personal hell for a woman she wouldn't have a career without.

in "i disagree" she says: "watashi wa anata ni doishimasen" which is japanese and roughly translates to "i don't agree with you". watashi = i, wa = am, anata = you, ni = to, doishimasen = disagreement (not agree). so, "i am to you in disagreement". she's white and hispanic, not japanese, but she loves the culture.

I was getting ready to hop in the shower when I came across your video. I ended up procrastinating and watched the entire video. You're funny, pretty and have a great singing voice. I'm going to assume you're in the UK. Love the accent. Your personality and passion for the music kept me captivated and made me smile just as much as you were. I think Moriah (Poppy) had always planned on becoming heavy after having 2 or 3 pop albums on record. It was performance art, a concept of an AI created pop star that realizes she is a clone, and then goes on a wild murdering spree. Titanic Sinclair, her producer during this project, definitely did some evil shit behind the scenes and treated Moriah pretty poorly. This was the last project that the two of them worked on together. There is a lot of foreshadowing of their breakup in the lyrics of this album, for sure, I'm a wrestling fan, so i look at entertainment oddly. I want to know how much of the art, and the artists is 'a work' (part of the art). So, I wonder, if Titanic and Moriah's breakup is part of the performance, but there was a lawsuit, so I doubt it. I also wonder if Vince Mcmahon is actually just an actor, and I wonder if Bo Burnham has ever experienced anxiety or depression. Poppy breaks the rules too, and she did early interviews In Character. She pretended to be a clone with a very limited amount of information on the world around her. She asked (Zach Sang) once if he could describe sex to her during a live interview, as if she had no idea what sex actually involved. The 'death of the author' concept supports my habit of treating 'out of character' interviews as parts of an entertainers art. If we ignore that the art was ever produced at all, and we observe it for exactly what it is, then in this case, Titanic was going down from the start. 'Keep telling yourself that you've been playing nice, and go beg for forgiveness from Jesus the Christ.' lots of loves from a very studious writer!
