Hi Adam, Abi's boyfriend engineeer here. Those injectors are trash, they are 1st gen bosch, with iron internals that rust with modern fuels. Get 4th + generation replacements with full stainless internals, ethanol proof o-rings and modern spray pattern laser atomizer nozzles that atomize fuel more efficiently, done lots of cars here in Spain and the improvement is amazing, not only in idle, but in acceleration, fuel economy and power. Can't believe those Porsche "experts" let you run with that rubbish, putting a rare engine in harms way. I think that it’s a cultural difference. We in the EU like to improve old tech, classic rally cars here are much faster now than they used to be for example. The US is more of a historical recreation scene.

I consider the yanks to be at the forefront of tech and power development, specially the way I like it which is keeping it as simple/effective as possible. Mustang, vette's and charger red eye engines etc.... I love their products, total seal rings, Cp, turbos etc. The injector thing is more of a safety issue really, those old bosch sprinklers are shite, they piss the fuel rather than break it down into a mist, and when the pintle valve rusts they leak and wash the delicate aircooled thin AF liners and kill the motor. Parts are expensive, its a bitch to rebuild, waiting times bla bla you know the deal. Really hope he addresses it, ethanol content as low as 5% is breaking tons of stuff in the old european classics fuel systems... and don't even get me started on fuel degradation of e5 & e10 blends and their destructive capacity ....I have a feeling this is all intentional to kill classic cars and force the population to buy the new 3cyl crap. fvck the NWO and globalist elites! Steelit is life. I painted my entire rallycross car in steelit grey with black accents. I opted to skip powdercoat on my jeep bumpers and did the black steelit - I just keep a rattle can around for touchup. Best stuff ever.

@@Lazer-yi6qgmechanical engineer here… ev’s and lithium mining are the worst “solution” to climate issues ever. I’ve broken down the thermodynamics on them numerous times. TECHNICALLY, yes an ev will produce less emissions while driving/charging. However, the impact from the massive production emissions, along with the fact that it is 100% dependent on what kind of fuel your grid is powered by negates that. In some cases it can take over a decade to make up that difference, and currently, there is zero data to support that an ev can last that long. The earliest Teslas have all sorts of problems and batteries seem to not last. So yes, ev’s currently are worse for the environment. Alternative fuels are the solution not ev’s

Adam, just make sure you re-enforce the shock towers then. I once accidentally jumped a speed hump and my whole tower collapsed. (Safe to say that a 70s car was is differently designed to a more modern one but still a good idea I think. Good luck 🎉

for the front main seal, when putting the new seal in there use a long socket of the same size and put it on top of it so when you tap it in it goes in evenly and so you don’t have to worry about tapping the crank 🤙

You let the secret out!! :) Did my first conversion from auto to 6sp in a 964 20yrs ago!! The 993 is nearly identical to swap. Much cheaper to buy the automatic cars and swap them. Only drawback is? The VIN will tell everyone it started life as a automatic.

LZ I'm gonna leave this Porsche stock 2 days later ripping it apart 1 week later upgrading the motor now it'll be twin turbos and a RWB wide body kit and wing next he already did rims cause LZ can never leave anything stock 😂 he's a perfectionist but that's not a bad thing I'd want to get the most out of a car to but I just think it's funny every time he says it's staying stock but I'm here for it all make the the thing an absolute beast of a Porsche just keep the color and as always keep up the great work 👍

Nissan has the Xterra you can buy for jumping. A stock xterra will handle the jumps far better than a heavily modified skyline. Plus they're pretty cheap so people can build at home along side.

By the sounds of it with you bottoming out the gtr. Have you messed with low end compression. That helps with the bigger/heavier landings. If you can turn that up a few more you might not have to change the springs. Low end compression for heavy hit and high end compression for the small bumps. Hope that helps even though provably already knew this.
